Wow busy days on here while I have been lollng around at my olds having lunch bought for me and the kids, clothes bought for the kids and tea made for us all too - knew it was all a bit too good to be true though as AF order still hasn't come (due tomorrow now) and dh has managed to fail to even get breakfast dishes done and a bottle of milk has exploded itself in the fridge!
AND DD WHO IS READING THIS OVER MY SHOULDER TO MAKE SURE I DON'T MAKE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES AND SHAME MYSELF ONLINE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT THIS IS A PRIVATE POST AND SHE SHOULD GET TO BED - OR ELSE THE TOOTH FAIRY WILL BE DEMANDING ALL HER KIND GIFTS OF £ BACK!!!!!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Congratulations MG. Your signature is looking fabulous!
Still reading through Make Do & Mend... you guys go on and on. I have a great list of useful things to explore from it. Am currently trying to get my head around seasonal menu planning. Great idea just not sure how to shop for it.May you be safe. May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you live with your heart at ease.0 -

Seemples!!! - you buy whatever is cheapest in the shop because that's what's in season. Although I don't have an Aldi here its always worth keeping an eye on what their Super Six is and base meals around that.
Go on - admit it, you thought we were clever and I've gone and blown it haven't I?:rotfl::rotfl:
Ooops my boy is on the telly

Poor old Boots - there are some wicked people about (wicked meaning evil - not cool!!)
Congrats on being df
Congrats on sofas - how do I get to the blog to see nuch raved about piccys?
What is ds's nursery thinking about - I'm mad just thinking about it - all the kids I worked with until last year (they ranged from being severely disabled to gifted) had general toys they could choose - where they learned at their own 'play' level with challenges set without them realising they were being challenged and 'group times' where we had to make sure EVERY child got something they could relate to at their level in each session. The same SHOULD happen at school - he'll be going to Montisorri won't he?January spends - £587.580 -

Unfortunately no Montessori school her any more, so State provision only. So I have decided instead that I shall make more of the Montessori materials for DS2 to use at home is he is not to be stretched at Playgroup.
That way he ( and his brain development) can choose when he is ready to learn.
Got DS1's parents meeting next Tuesday so we will see how he gets on then.

Hey Matrix, really sorry I have not been around lately. Work has been totally awful this week, and yesterday was the worst day yet. I really do not want to go into it, because I am trying to forget about it and work on the positive things... but sometimes it is really hard. I would be most appreciative of any spare positive vibes you might have.
On the upside (see, I am trying!) I found a really excellent job to go for - Divisional Finance Manager at Oxford University. I am waiting for the recruitment consultant to get back to me with some more details about it, and if she hasn't emailed me by the end of today, then I am going to call her and ask for more details. Also, I received my letter from CIPFA yesterday. It is official... I now have CPFA after my name.I am very, very pleased with that, and it is all down to you lot! Thank you!!
Congrats on being debt free MG!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Go for it Crickett! It would be great to see you down this way...
I have the day off, and my mother is arriving at lunchtime for me to take to see her new granddaughter.
Need to take the pheasant out of the SC at some point (carcass is in for stock), freeze the leftover pheasant casserole, and work out what to do with the 4 lamb chops I defrosted to make supper for me and my mother and a couple of frozen meals. And defrost the small lump of beef in the bottom of the freezer to make stew with tomorrow. And go and buy taps when the workmen arrive, and veg... I have kind of done next week's meal plan, but the supplement I'm taking is a shake... And its grim0 -
Go for it, Ms Crickett CPFA (well done)! Everyone deserves to be happy in their work environment.
AF order went in last night, and the TV is going today
:D
Today's other tasks - get the house up to viewing standard today. The viewers, and buyers, are on their way. And I'll need to make space for the AF order... it will last me for aaaages!
Had a dream in which I was tidying out in a youth hostel prior to moving on, and as I stripped off my bed, someone else took it over.... so perhaps my subconscious was getting me ready for today's action!
Have a most excellent day everyone. If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
