Back from Playgroup run - via L**L as today was the day targeted fro the winter milk stock-up.

So I now have 48 litres of milk in the store - swear I am not venturing out this winter unless its to play with the kids........ FIRST YAY ME!!!!!

Got home to see one of my old dears struggling to pull a desk out the kerb for the bin-men. So stopped to help, naturally. Well its a drop down top desk, three drawers and lovely shapely legs. So it has been gratefully relocated to my house to be refurbed for one of the letting rooms....... SECOND YAY ME!!!!!!

Logged on to check my email - To find an email saying my money had been transferred from the big book sale - due to time differences there is cleared funds in my account............... THIRD YAY ME!!!!!!

So with only a few, will I won't I thoughts I immediately sent it winging to the Big Horse Debt.

    I AM OFFICIALLY DEBT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fourth YAY ME!!!!! in case you didn't get it.

All before 10 am and with only one cup of coffee inside me.:j

    Lovely Day

Well done, MG - another 'YAY' coming from here. Next one will come soon enough and no sooner than your business starts generating 'enough and than some' regularly - you are almost there, my friend, keep focused.

Carboard "tubes" made out of boxes and covered in bin bags - lots of tape and at least two people to carry them to the car.

I t's very wet here and I have a load of whites to dry, including 2 sheets. May have to resort to TD as we go away for weekend tommorrow:mad: I haven't used dryer for nearly a year and we haven't put heating on yet either.

Depending on circumstances and if you can stand leaving the wet washing in a basket until tonight and as you are going away for weekend - can you rig up a line in doors somehwere ( spare room ???) or an airer - hang it up tonight and leave over weekend - should be dry by the time you get back - may look like Widow Twankies but you wont see it. I dont have a TD so resort to this sometimes:o
    Just a thought :)

    MG

How about those cardboard fruit "crates" you can pick up in supermarkets like Aldi and cover it with bin liner.

Yay MG on debt free :T:T

Morning all - I know it is nearly lunchtime! Sending healing thoughts to those that need them and bad influence thoughts to those that trespass against us:D (well it is the only way to say it).

Well done on being DF and scoring a new piece of furniture MG.

I am more than slightly deaf today - if anyone heard extremely loud bangs at 9.45pm last night then it was the firework display at the new bournville college:mad: My flat rocked with the explosions and I was chatting to landlord's handyman today and he said that his house over in Kings Norton which is about 5 miles away from me also rocked:mad: Must admit I tweeted about it and then got this loonie lefty telling me that I should be proud that my neighbours are celebrating diwali - I have no objection to diwali but I do object to industrial bombs going off in close proximity to my home - the college so far has not done anything to endear themselves to the local residents..instead of spending thousands on fireworks they should have put that money to better use and build a ruddy carpark so that we don't have to put up with students and staff parking everywhere because they are too tight to pay £1 per day to park:mad:

I am not long back from Aldi (used their free carpark to nip to post office). I got 2 postal orders in the post office because I am feeling particularly awkward where kn*bhead is concerned. I did discover in Aldi that the frozen chicken breasts mum gave me actually came from Aldi and not Morrisons and that they cost £3.99 a bag (I can report that they are nice as I cooked one for my dinner last night). I spent £6.51 in Aldi buying frozen grillsteaks, frozen oven chips, jam, jive biccies (like twix but cheaper), 2ltrs of vanilla ice cream, sugar and microfibre cloths.

Thank you all for the tips about cake transportation and getting washing dry. Will play this afternoon on cakes and it's brightening up so washing may get out yet.
