Congrats on the sofas and associated MG, hope you have a great feeling of achievement but :mad::mad: to the cats.

Glad everyone is trundling along nicely, as always an inspiration, but i need to remember not to dye my hair while writing my soa, result very very very blonde :eek::rotfl:oh well, might as well change something else as well

Other glove finished, although I managed to drop a stitch, but ds1 just said sew it, no -one will notice lol So thats what I done

Will take pics tomorrow as thereare no batteries in the camera at the moment

Will start another pair tomorrow now, might posh them up a bit by sewing some buttons or something on as decoration, I think I may get another 2 pairs out of the ball off wool I'm using.

Today needs to be a productive day -business wise. Having the Mums around at mine last night has made me appreciate some of the skills I have that I had forgotten I had IYSWIM?

SO its a get a wiggle on kind of day.

MSE news - DS2 has decided he really does enjoy porridge for breakfast - so mega cheap breakfasts all around four days a week. Every little we rebalance our budget the better.

Ooo I hear big boy stirring - better get his breakfast sorted (lunch is already packed)

My old knitting skills are going to come back to the fore. Both girls have been "borrowing" my scarf, so have down loaded a pattern and am about to venture into the understairs cupboard to root through my stock. I may be gone sometime......
At least that will be 1 C*mas pressie to add for them both. Am also making them both up a sewing kit. I kept the tins from some lovely biscuits last year and am making them a needle case and pin holder. Will then fill with needls and thread etc. My Mum has a needle case I made for her at school and she still uses it now and that was a few years ago:rotfl::rotfl:
Just need to find a good pattern for a knitted bag for my Sister and then my nieces all like these owl cushions that seem to be all the rage. So a homemade C8mas, but made with love:)

Betsie: Please tell me more about owl cushions. I haven't heard of them, but do have a pattern for a cushion with an owl on it. I am thinking about doing them as presents also.

MG: Well doneon not getting too involved with playgroup.

:jI also mastered the champagne glasses- 1 cake done and 1 to do today. I t's very wet here and I have a load of whites to dry, including 2 sheets. May have to resort to TD as we go away for weekend tommorrow:mad: I haven't used dryer for nearly a year and we haven't put heating on yet either.

Mornin' all..... feels like the morning after the night before without the fun of the night before iykwim

Completely shattered (thay need an exhausted smilie) but.... am not giving in. Today is the day to clean ds1's room - I'm goin' in ladies, I'm goin' in :rotfl:. He has been given a 20 minute countdown to vacate his room.

Other plans today include mending dd's shorts - she bought two Primarni exclusives and the zip has bust in both. Time to squeeze in another cuppa. Later peeps.

Good morning and I really need some help and support from the Matrix. My friends partner is in hospital, very poorly with pneumonia (just dodging intensive care).

Please, please my friends, do join me in sending strength and healing vibes to the lady in hospital - she is a strong open water swimmer but now needs some help. I'll be doing this at 12.30 today.
