MG - we too had a spate of poisonings here last year which were deliberate. I didn't want to say anything at the time because an accident is 1 thing but for someone to do it deliberately is just plain evil.
Apparently the anti freeze tastes sweet to cats and so they are attracted.
It did make it to our local paper but I don't think the culprit got caught....
Horace - I am with the others if you can survive, don't sell your watch as it obviously is very dear to you. You are working towards paying off your debts and every step you make is a step closer.2015 £2 Saver #82

Horace huge hugs to you - I agree don't sell your watch. At the very least it is a good insurance policy for even harder times. I would not like to see you sell it for the sake of this bully, who is outrageously blackmailing you. You put him into hospital??? That's really takes the biscuit and makes me
Am also so angry for Boots and the other cats

The local Bobby is coming in tomorrow - so hard to prove with cats though. At least he will go and have a knock around all the houses that back onto one another - hopefully the culprit will get a scare and stop.
Got quite a bit done - at least the kitchen is straight and floor is swept ready to be bleached tonight.
Had a run around and emptied all the bins as it is bin day tomorrow. I have only got three biodegradable bin liners left from the council recycling scheme. I wonder what you are supposed to do when you run out? Certainly we haven't received any new ones and we only use one per week (cooked foods) as the green stuff gets composted so we don't use as much as some might.
Bathroom has been sprayed and cleaned - although I need to get in with the bleach as there are a couple of discoloured bits.
Chick peas in for dinner / lunch tomorrow and soup rusted up for a late lunch.
Not too bad

Hey MG
We usually order ours online, or (because they take so long to arrive) buy them in Mr Ts!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

We can get replacements from the library. They used to be free but now they are £2 a roll of 50, still cheaper than supermarket. I think most boroughs still subsidise because they want to encourage recycling to cut their landfill costs. If you go on the Environment section of your local authority website it should say how to get moreIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Would appear that we didn't receive any the last time they delivered bags - so some are winging their way to me in the next week or so. What a faff - would be easier to go and collect but you can't do that here.
Well - another job ticked off

Well my knitting project is not going to plan
I don't think I'm doing my purl stitch right
need to have a pattern that looks like a rib by knitting 2 purl 2 but it looks nothing like itBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
YOu need to do a few rows before it begins to look like rib Claire. And you should be K2 P2 in first row, then P2 K2 in the second. Is that what your pattern says?
