Mind you - he's missed a trick cos we would have been making him running stuff out of old curtains a la "The Sound of Music" rather than buying

Feeling rather sh*tty today, just had the guy ring me who I had business cards from (I swear I will never recommend him to anyone or utilise his services ever again:mad:), he was quite vile and demanded that I pay him £384 by Christmas - mind you he has only just acknowledged that I sent him £20 in August (the month I did without food). He refuses to accept £1 as advised by CCCS and basically called me a thief. He has left me feeling rather tearful today, I have to send him my details again together with a payment plan that I must stick to and it mustn't be £1 because he won't accept that. Not sure what to do really other than sell my watch or go and stand on a street corner:
Nope - you are on benefits, you are taking advice from CCCS - he gets pro rata treatment the same as everyone else. If its a pound, its a pound. He is a creditor like any other, but no more important.
You don't go without food and you don't miss a payment - unlikely he will take you to court for such a small amount but if he does then you can demonstrate you have been acknowledging the debt - but "you can't get blood out of a stone".
If he gets shouting - hang up. Better still ignore him and don't take the call - just keep making the payments YOU can afford NOT what he wants.
This from a lady who fought of the bank WANTING £10K there and then and did take me to court - guess what the court found in MY favour as I was treating them fairly.

Had a lovely day out with my sister yesterday looking in lots of gift shops. There were loads of cushions, door stops etc that she and her girls liked and I kept saying I could make those cheaper. Me and my big mouth, sounds like I need to get my sewing machine back out.:)
She did see a lovely knitted shoulder bag which was £25 so think I will knit her one for Christmas. Well that's my evenings "sewn up" til Christmas2015 £2 Saver #82

Not sure what to do really other than sell my watch or go and stand on a street corner:( When I go to the solicitors (see below) I shall pop my head in the jewellers to see if they would be interested in buying my watch - I have the certificates for it and the lovely leather box. The watch was bought with compensation money and is my dream watch - it never leaves my wrist.

I agree with MG - just ignore this nasty man! You are doing everything right and following sound advice. DO NOT SELL YOUR WATCH

Horace - I don't know much about these things, but can't you send creditors a special letter that stops them from being allowed to call you to hassle you? I agree, DO NOT SELL YOUR WATCH (please)0

OMG!!! Just found out that Boots is one of FIVE cats that died last week due to anti-freeze.
Sadly it looks like deliberate dosing doesn't it?

I have cancelled the cheque that I wrote for him back in September because he didnt receive it. He will be sent a letter showing my income and he will get a cheque for £2 (2 months worth of payments) and I will pay £1 as normal until such time as I get more money and can pay his bill in full. Had to smile because he claimed I had put him in hospital - I don't see how I did that, his lifestyle did that to him and now he has something that he is not going to recover from.
I may liquidise my asset though, I am finding out about it because I have all the papers and the box (I have a cheap watch that I can wear in the meantime because I never chucked out my old watch). Must admit that I feel a bit odd going to the jobcentre wearing the watch when it would probably pay for a years' benefits for someone. It is something that I am investigating but not actually doing. Mum's payment to Virgin CC will free up more money for me, one pound extra. I hate being in this position..but as you say he can't have what I haven't got. I don't need to go without food either because my freezer is full, I can barely squeeze anything else in.
In other news I am in credit with my bank but won't be for long as I have rent going out and some bills but I can pay £7.63 into the bank from paypal. I have booked a hair appointment for next week and my hairdresser has promised a 50% reduction.
Thanks for cheering me up and making me feel human again and not like some low life thief.0 -

MG there is a spate of deliberate poisonings in Fife atm, why I have no idea, but people are being warned to be vigilant with their pets, but there are some sadistic barstewards that are pouring anti-freeze into puddles and streams :mad:, with the express intention of causing harm.
Worst if it is, it only takes half a tea spoon of ethylene glycol to kill a small cat/ There are some dirty swine out there. There has been 4 poisinings in Kelty alone in the last fortnight, and one near me. God help the human race.
Have heard from MrsMoo2U for all who were asking, she has no internet at home for the next month and its difficult for her to get on at work etc, but she is ok xxx0 -
I cannot understand people - why deliberately poison an animal? The people that do this should be forced to drink antifreeze themselves:mad:0

That is dreadful. I hope the police /local paper/RSPCA are on the case. Its a criminal offence.
Our pet rabbit was deliberately killed by some drunken eejit many moons ago. OH got hold of the twonk ( too late for rabbit sadly) and gave him a taste of his own medicine. We reported it all to the police who charged the eejit and he was convicted - criminal damage - he was fined and we got compensation ( which was not expected) police were not interested that he had got 'roughed up' a bit and neither did he complain.
A few months later whilst staggering home along a dark lane, drunk again, he was knocked down by a bus and killed.........karma??? Well maybe. But I did think that if pearly gates exist then I had a vision of not St Peter but Peter Rabbit waiting for him..................Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
