Wow MG, the sofa is looking GREAT
I'm feeling fabulous today - my dad and brother did a few bits of DIY for me yesterday before leaving and I have now put the house on the market todayI woke up this morning and found hopefully all the relevant pieces of paper I'll need (guarantees for boiler, double glazing etc etc) so that when the perfect first-time buyer with a mortgage offer in hand walks through the door in a few days/weeks' time, I'll be ready to progress.
The agent has told me of a property hopefully coming up once probate has been sorted that on the face of it would be great and just within budget, I've done a drive-by and am really keeping my fingers crossed and have ideas on how I'd want it to be. Universe and Matrix - please channel positivity that it will happen, I'm ready to move NOW!
I've got details of a bungalow opposite "my one" that's just sold saved to my desktop so I can start focussing on my dreams0 -
Wow MG, your sofa is beautiful! Well done you clever thing, you. All for a tiny amount of money - but plenty of blood sweat and tears I bet! But well worth the learning curve and the hours and hours of work. I take my hat off to you.If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

MG I have commented on the blog but would you like my marks? 100 out of 10. Oh my word they look amazing, well done to you.
I'd have bricked it at the thought of that mammoth task but you as always have done yourself proudI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -

You have so hit the nail on the head with Dhs getting in the way MG - mine is back after his weekend away and is already getting in the way of my positive decluttering and doesn't really understand what I'm doing or why (have tried explaining briefly but his eyes glazed over)
Luckily he is off to work at 12 and not back till gone 10 tonight so I can pretend he doesn't exist and just get on with stuff:rotfl:
Mine's retired - hangs around all day every day!!!!!!!!! Can't get anything done!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Sofas look great. I am in the dumps - not sure what is happening to me. Not felt that bad for long time.

Been very busy with head stuck in cupboard in utility room - have sorted all medicines and first aid stuff, shoe cleaning stuff, kids paints/craft stuff and stashed loads of Orange juice and Apple juice that farmfoods were begging me to buy - we go through loads and this is my mini stock cupboard now ready for some approved foods too. Anyone any idea how long/when they will deliver? Do they email to say when or do I have to sit in all week?
Have also also made bread in BM, done DW and WM and had a lengthy play in park too.
Tea next then going to attack rest of toy mountain once small people are in bed.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Feels a lot more real now I have a date! And it also appears I have to have 4 weeks off work, not the previously advised 2... Fine by me - takes me pretty much to Christmas so I may well be off for the whole ofDecember
Bring on the knitting I say!
Plasterer has just removed two sections of plasterboard that had black mould on them from an ancient leak, so I have a hole in the ceiling between the chimney, bathroom and airing cupboard. When he's gone, I need to wash the floors and then tidy up the sitting room and my bedroom and possibly the kitchen so that the cleaner can at least do something when she comes tomorrow!
Sofas are fabulous MG. Well done :T:T... Now you need to find some throws to make them toddler/child/adult-with-alcohol proof0
