    Good Morning all!

Don't wear lipstick but I am heading upstairs any minute and will stick some lovely YSL lip gloss on (to be used on special occasions only!)

I hope something perfect arrives really soon for you Souk.

I have sat for a few minutes and thought about the World Leader comments and I'm afraid my head and mind can't quite reach to that level of serious thinking!

I have just returned from my second physio session and feel all inspired to get cracking with the piles of 'projects' that have been recently started but unfinished due to feeling completely drained with my back issues.

So today's definitely a day for '15 min bursts' YAY!!

I will head of to my own diary to bore people with my first mini to-do list. I have started to list 5 items and then complete them before adding any more because as the lists were growing I found that I lost interest or motivation because it just looked like I wasn't achieving anything!

Also thank you to the member of this thread who posted a link to the Shabby Chic III thread. Blimey!!! I am ploughing my way through that one and loving it.

So I hope everyone's day is a good one and let's keep smiling!

Could you not have "borrowed" one? On my stropps I find I can only get so far alone and then because OH has severe arthritis I have to resort to borrowing one. My favourite is B.I.L but do ocassionally resort to my neighbour.

  • Afternoon matrix... need to keep it brief in case boss sees that I am on the Internet and throws another strop! :(

Have had a really good morning. Re-read all of the re-writes, decided I didn't need to tinker with them any more and sent them off. Gulp. Should find out in 10 days or so. Oh pants. Really nervous, but can't take them back now. Positive vibes, please, if you can spare them!! :)

So, during my lunch hour I had a long list of things to do online - including checking in here, reading the Matrix and Facebook and clearing my hotmail. I also did the Mr T order so he can bring it to my house on friday evening, and then transferred money from one account to another to cover it.

Back to the grindstone again now - got a student number rec to do and a risk analysis update to sort out; then I am heading home for chores, making a veggie Soup for tea and lunches tomorrow, and putting the summer clothes away. Brrr... Autumn is here... and it is COLD! :D

See you all later, and positive vibes to you all! 'Specially for Souk!! :)

I can borrow one at the weekend :rotfl: but seeing as its due to rain this afternoon I had better not wait until then:D

All in now - and think I will need to have a whole pot of tea to recover.

........................ but maybe the Carpenter Fairy will appear in the night and do some work :rotfl::rotfl:

...........or maybe I should just go and set up my sawhorses??

    But first - you've guessed it - SOFA'S!!!!!

Well back from holidays with a bump.

I am so sad to hear that Steve Jobs has died. I used a Mac Classic as my first computer and I have lived with Apple machines ever since. I read these quotes which are quite remarkable.

Hugs to Souk, good luck to you Crickett!

Sorry to hear about the shrinkage OO

I was saddened too Lara. I watched him on TED once speaking to some graduates and he was inspirational. The thing that sticks with me was his "stay hungry, stay foolish"quote. Lots to think about.
