  • Okay, afternoon was a bit better... I have finished the rewrites for the portfolio. I tried to print them off so I could read them through again and make any alterations I think are necessary, but all the networked printers appear to have taken a break for the day, so I shall attempt to print them off in the morning. Is it silly of me to have manaufactured a way of sending them 14 extra pages instead of 13 pages it would have been? I do not want to tempt fate with an unlucky number of pages.

I have the house to myself for most of this evening, so I am going to go home, dash about doing chores, make dinner (veggie egg fried rice) and then go to bed early so I can feel even better tomorrow! Off to battle the elements to get home now. See ya all tomorrow.

Having a most productive day on the sofa front - closer examination of the designer version shows that the patches are actually pretty big - so the most complicated bit of sewing is done and dusted.

Still playing around with my cushions though - seeking inspiration.

Popped a patchy blue curtain through with a limey green dye this afternoon and it really makes thewhole thing "pop" - so I am really keen to see it all pull together.

    Off to take photies

Marru, can you rope in some of the other mothers, have a mothers afternoon the day before where you all get together for a "girly" day and bake etc. I know you will be tired from the acupuncture but perhaps a social afternoon will be good.

MG you certainly have come a long way. This time last year Lara was heading off, OO was getting us all het up about football kits, you was doing the rounds of the tv studios to drum up interest. Claire was just starting out on her business (where is she by the way?). What a year of ups and downs it has been but always a postive person around to boot us up the arris when needed.
By the way FW you are the nicest book I have ever come across.

    I'm here :) been busy

I make cushions & stuff in a shabby chic style. Give me a yell if there's anything you need. I have loads of piping cord if you need any more.

What a wonderful typo - I would prefer to see it as a Freudian slip actually!

MrsMoo2U, when I write my next book, the one people would like to read, I'll dedicate it to you (and other Matrix people).

Pootle, pootle, pootle and still always loads to do but life is good. Dh has scrubbed downstairs although he did fail to produce any tea (grrr) but still not had to buy anything to eat this week.

Nothing of any excitment and no money saving to report.

Can't wait to see MG's sofa and I second FW to be The Matrix Boot.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It was a freudian slip FW, I would never be comfortable calling you a boot. Love to have a book dedicated to me that would be ace, even if I did share it with others. I will even allow you to use "you are a lovely book" as a quote
