Ladies, I've seen a place near here that sells EasiYo yoghurt makers. Are they really worth it?

How do you use them without buying the expensive sachets, MG? I know you use them and I can pretty much darn well guarantee that you don't buy those sachets. ;)

You can make yoghurt in a food flask using a shop bought natural yoghurt as a starter :D

  • Sorry to hear you are in an emotional funk - can we help at all ???

Not sure anyone can TBH. Am really getting tired of my own complaints so not sure how anyone else feels.
Bad week with DS not wanting to go to school, so worrying about stuff there, fed up of not having an uninterrupted nights sleep from either kids or killer cat. Feeling !!!!!! (no not TMIF chap ;)) fed up of feeling fat, tired, stuck in a rut clothes wise but don't have the money to buy nice clothes (although I'd probably end up stropping about like a teenager in the shops because nothing fits etc etc).
Book came today called Potatoes not Prozac and reading it ticks A LOT of boxes for me, might even help explain my roller coaster moodswings and constant tiredness. Anyway it's a slow process and I need to give it at least 6 months to make a difference. I hope it works because I felt close to the end of my tether this week and this is NOT how I want to spend the rest of my life.

But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?
  • Back from the Birthday Party with DS2 - I think I am turning into a Grumpy Old woman, There was a little horror - who after an hour of me diverting him after watching him slap and hit our kids I lost patience (not at him, but the Mum sitting with her back to him chatting with her mates and texting on her phone.

I picked said kid up and dumped him on her knee - told her that he was her problem - not ours so either step up and start taking care of him or she could receive an invoice for the hours childcare she'd just had off of us - at time and a half!!! She and kid left pretty pronto - and the Management gave our kids extra squash and crisps (apparently she brings him in every Saturday and leaves him to it) Poor wee mite.

Still we had, soft play, face painting and chocolate cake -so I count that as a successful party - Oh and the kids had cake too:D

Just to let you know that the prices were announced - I didn't win but still a very good paper did. It was quantitative so easier to select - particularly in the US. My paper was the runner up and it is still really hot - but it is theory.

I am still a winner - people have been coming to tell me that they are great admirers of my work; the work my team reported from our high profile project was the most interesting here; I got a round of laughter and an ovation for a comment on a plenary (which doesn't happen often); and to top it all the editor of a journal has been chasing me not only for my paper but to offer me a special issue.

Thank for you support - it is working. I am still presenting in the afternoon but this will be fine.
