Positive vibes crickett......this reminds me of one of my old bosses. Pay review day he would have the envelopes delivered to him at 9am and the old g!t would make us wait til 4pm to find out what rise we'd received
Patience is NOT one of my virtues
gemmzie - kick 'em a kick up the 'arris.
dirtyepic - good news re Occ Health :T
Have a good day everyone. I have a list of frogs, the first one is taking the recycling which means loading DD into the car. Damn you local council for your p!ss poor recycling scheme :mad:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I know it's late but hello! I've been busy sorting out a maths workshop for parents ready for tomorrow morning - have only had a few replies which means more biccies for the rest of us. Is the first time anyone has attempted anything like this as the head is a bit anti-parents tbh:eek:, he even squeaked a bit when I suggested buying some new cups so they could have a decent brew!!!!
So would love some Matrixey type positive vibes from anyone still up/or anyone up early tomorrow as although I have done assemblies for 400 children and lead services with the whole school I am still scared of presenting to 'growed ups' cos they are big and scary.
And in other news today our wall has been taken down - looks really weird like our garden is hanging off a cliff or something, builder is back in the morning to start the re-build.
When I have had to address large groups I imagine them with no clothes on.
It doesn't help with the nerves at all, but it's a laugh.
Hope it went well0 -
Mornin Matrix
Eeeek to mousies MG, glad you didn't find any evidence.
Good luck for today Claire, keep taking lots of slow, relaxing breathes and think of the outcome.
Crickett - and breathe, you will ace this
Dirtyepic - good news about the occ. health report, well done for standing your ground.
Today will have to be an MG power day for me - things around the house have reached critical mass and can no longer be ignored .
Already done:
Mince, cooked, fat skimmed off and de-scuzzed - now cooling
Chicken, cooked - now cooling
All stray crockery collected from around the house.
Lots of dishes washed and put away.
Will report back later - enjoy Friday everyone, Thriftyxxx0 -
Hi everyone!
Sorry I've not been around much, have been stuck in bed and thoroughly unproductive!
Just wanted to wish Crickett and Claire all the best for todayxx
Happy Friday!0 -
Morning All. Souk - go for that second interview, it is the right thing to do and then you will have two jobs to decide between:)
Crickett - I have butterflies for you too. Good luck.
MG. hope you hear back from Nick Ullett. Sorry I was too late to help, I love researching on the internet for stuff and found him straight away but came back to read and realised Mr F had found him for you. How exciting and yes...... there is no such thing as coincidence, just that your mind is open to the opportunities that exist.

Just got the result.
I didn't pass. They want more information. Seriously. How much more information do they need after I gave them a 220 page portfolio?! So I need to resubmit at a price of £200. Great. They haven't told me what extra information they require, so I am waiting for them to get back to me.
I am so gutted, I can't tell you. Feels like a slap in the chops. I am crying at my desk. Not a good look."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Oh Crickett, please dont cry and don't take this as a failure, it isn't ....... I am not close enough to hug but my arms are stretching over the country.
Ok, crisis management kicking in you have done the right thing to ask for more detail on what they require. If you ask me this is probably more of a money spinner for them . On the positive side it is a lot less than £700. I am sure that it wont be a lot of work to do. Once you get the details that they require dont just assume the information isnt already there. Is there anybody who can go through the portfolio and see if they can spot things in there that match the information required. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Ah Crickett, so sorry to hear this. No advice, just hugs X
Claire, hope it goes okay today for you.
Off today and pootling for a bit then off to the gym and to do some bits X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Oh Crickett, I just wanted to come on to say big hugs to you. I know you feel gutted, that is understandable, but it is also good you have asked for the information needed and will be able to resubmit knowing that everything will be there that they want.
