Does anyone have any ideas what I can have for dinner?
I have prawns which must be used, as well as normal vegetables (potato, carrot, cabbage, mushrooms, onion) and cupboard inhabitants (rice, pasta, cous cous, tinned tomato, far too many jars of spices...)
But I fancy something stewy... any hints?0 -
Sounds like Paella would be a winner TMIF?
I'm having HM pizza too MGGot a pizza stone with some of our wedding vouchers, and started giving the Kenwood Chef and dough hook thing a go. Last time they were nice, but a bit squidgy in the middle.

Paella eh - do I need special rice for that, or just normal? I will google a recipe and see if it's hearty and wintery enough - good idea though, probably another recipe to go in my folder0

Cucumber, onions, mint and lettuce converted to soup. Not sure how I'm going to shoehorn it into the freezer as both of them are pretty full! Onions, carrots and celery may have to take their chances in the fridge. Rest of tomatoes may be eaten with pasta for lunch. Need to think hard and plan my last few meals.
Better out another load of washing on and then go and look out my big knickers so I have something to clip the microphone transmitter to...0
