Just returning from the depths of our attic - jeesh I thought you were going to have to send Moo in to rescue me :rotfl:. Well I found the books I went looking for and also a bag of lace that I forgot I had - there are some lovely bits :j. What an MSE find
.
Went for a walk with ds into town and came back with a lovely basket to keep my wool in - so much nicer than keeping it in a plastic bag.
Still got everything crossed for Souk. Hugs to all, Thriftyxxx0 -
I've calmed down / cheered up now;)
Cos a Mum at playgroup just dropped me around a HUGE cone of chenille yarn as she "heard I was a bit crafty" - not quite sure which way I was meant to take that TBH??

YAY - I found my recycling bin - it had travelled down the road. I saw a lone bin hanging by the house near by, went to pop a little note through the letter box and got a message on the phone saying that by all means it is not their bin please come and get it.
And TGIF :j"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Haven't finished work but systems are down
trying to log in via the US.
There's bad weather heading across the Atlantic towards us on Monday. Guess which day I'm flying to Orlando?
Oh well, work and packing call. And I have to eat a lot of cucumber and sweetcorn before I go! Yet more soup is being made to use other stuff up, so I hope I can shoehorn in into the freezer!0 -
Oh, Lord! Work...I don't think I have time to sleep between now and Monday. Given that I just came back from Rome where not much sleep was had this is not good. And my leg is starting to hurt - all this travelling, getting lost and taking an hour and a half (and arriving by taxi) to get to a place ten minutes away from the station; all this with luggage. Sitting all day listening to stuff that, let's face it, was not even that interesting.
One thing is certain though - working in bed with legs up sounds very good but is easily the most inefficient and annoying thing I have had to do for a long time. A choice has been made by the Firewalker: no more bed, no more feet up. I'll wear the stocking, will take my medication but will work at my desk - at least this way I really get stuff written.
Good night for some and a working night for others. Which camp to join?

FW - I'm doing OK working on the sofa with my legs up. Admittedly i'm not writing for long periods, as balancing the laptop on my knees isn't great, but I find sitting too exhausting.
Make sure you get up and walk around a lot0 -

Where abouts in Orlando are you heading to Greenbee? Any chance for some downtime at any of the parks?0
