Can I just say that I HATE packing?

I have my suit sorted (one skirt, one pair of trousers, 2 dresses - which will make me popular as there is nowhere to attach the mike transmitter to :)) together with tops and shoes. Tights, jewellery and scarves still to do.

Next I need to work out evenings (two dinners, two with no plans), flights (whatever I wear to fly on can't be worn again as it is always grim), and free time on Tuesday. Also need to take swimming stuff, laundry bags, cosmetics (remind me how they work again...) and toiletries.

Must check my baggage allowance. I need a lot of shoes. In fact, I need to BUY more shoes.

MG I've posted them on the other side but think it maybe a bit advanced technically for my fledgling knitting skills! I'm thinking of something along these lines not exactly the same:

    image.jpg

OH I love that - just for you I shall work out eh pattern - if I can find a suitable yarn - a fuzzy DK should be good.
    1. 1. Are you sure its knitted and not crochet?
    2. Is the tie part in moss stitch?
    3. Is the bit around your neck in a fan stitch?
    4. How long overall? and how wide at widest part?

Mine is simpler as its in very chunky yarn and the lady I have made it for can't really do buttons any more - but I LOVE THIS!!!

  • SOUK sweetie - positive Matrix vibes for this morning :T:T:T

I think I may have a pattern for the above slot- through scarf and will have a look tomorrow.... busy today.

    Have a good day, everyone.

I have a crocheted necklace that I always tuck away (doesn't clang, but is bid enough and heavy enough to clip a mike onto)

Apart from that - I am rather, ahem "womanly" so its V necks all the way so I often get away with a cleavage mike :D

These are the things never covered in "presentation" skills programmes:rotfl::rotfl:

BTW - never wear a hand-boned corset under an evening dress when using a super sensitive radio mike - all the metal bones cause a massive feedback issue and even then you sould like a creaking ship in sail - ask me how I know???:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

PS Matrix challenge (of sorts) popped over the other side - bit of an OMG one though.

    Hello Matrix...

Am struggling a bit with energy levels and depression again today. Have a nice evening to look forward to though - going out with some friends from Church. It might be a late night... or very early morning! :D

Have meetings and lots of work to do, so best get on with it.

    Good morning,

I'm shattered, been a very restless night ds2 woke up at 4 feeling very sick, so I had to go find a bowl etc.

The day has started off pants just as I thought I was doing well with my budget :( a lovely MSE'r did a spreadsheet for me yesterday so I can keep track of my spendings, incomings, outgoings, etc, I paid some bills up to date last night which left me with £68 for food and transport back and fore hospital next week. Just Checked bank and a dd has just come out that wasn't showing on my dd list for £49 something  leaving me with £18 for food and transport and £7 in my purse:(

The day can only get better :)
