Dustykitten - I have thrown a picture of the scarf up on the MFi3 blog as a temp measure - is this what you are looking for?

Only because I can't figure out how to upload it on here LOL

You can never have to many scarves :D this one at least is nice and neat and fills in that drafty gap, without annoying dangly ends (too tempting for a toddler)

Super quick to knit - one film last night and two mugs of coffee and a loooooonnnggg chat with "Shoes" today.

I don't have any room to keep more. And I can't knit... If they are things you can do while multi tasking then there are opportunities to think about over the other side :)

Thanks MG that is the style but I want mine more detailed. Just finishing dinner and then I'll post the pic of what I have - picked up some good library books with ideas for knitted bag which you can then felt - I've only ever felted a jumper by mistake!

This thread has really helped me to find what I love doing and give time back to it. For the minute I'm going to enjoy that and hope that in time it inspires me to think of a business idea. I know that I don't want to go out and get a job but want a small business so that is a good starting point.

Hmmm weirdy old working day with everyone being very stressy for no real good reason tbh. Boss particularly stressy and cross with himself for not working over summer so taking it out on rest of us (go away miserable man I am being positive).

Am still managing to get in early enough for the boss to make me a brew most mornings and I could answer all his difficult questions this morning.

Could do with positive Matrix vibes for the school and its local community atm as we are in a VERY deprived area, one of the worst wards in England for £, employment and health and the cuts (whatever you think of them) are having a profound effect on our families and our local charity nursery is under threat which would mean even more parents out of a job as there is no other childcare locally. Also there is a positive possibility of rebuilding our school onto one site as we currently straddle a busy main road which makes everything very difficult and our buildings are in a dire state (think buckets in the hall when it rains and outside doors which are held in place with string and hope) We are also awaiting Ofsod who will also put pressure on a staff that works incredibly hard in incredibly difficult circumstances. Hope you don't mind me putting this on here with it being so long and complex but we need all the help we can get and the positivity on here always puts things into perspective/puts a smile on my face.

    Morning!

Well done Tenmah! Enjoy that feeling! What will you do with the 'extra' money now that it no longer has to go to debts?

Gosh only just caught up a bit and behind again already...

I have a feeling I am going to be back in debt again very soon :o We have found a bungalow to move to and it is going to cost a fortune. If our references go through ok, the new landlord want us in as soon as possible but the current landlay wants two months notice so we will have to double up on the rent for a couple of months, which means over a £1000 which we just don't have  Then there is the deposit and the extortionant fees as well as needing new stuff to make it our home - eeek

Ooh ooh big excitement chez Dora - my olds just rang to say I've won £100 on their church 'lottery' - woohoo. What shall I spend it on, credit card repayment, car insurance, new radio aerial for car to replace stolen one, stitchy stuff, shoes? Am very tempted just to sit and look at it for a while.....:)

Or a running jacket since I'm back running, or an ipod arm holder thingy so I don't have to hold it when running, or some nice thick curtains to keep out the winter chills, or a carpet cleaner to try to find out what colour my carpets are supposed to be, did I mention shoes?!

    Hmmm tricky................................!
