Morning all
Dank day here so washing on the maiden.
Feeling a tad crafty so off to the scrap store and the library in a bit for some bits.
MG - I have a lovely knitted scarf/collar tie thing which I bought in the sale and love. I want to create something similar with some wool I have (from the scrap store earlier in the year). Do you have a good online sourse for patterns for this sort of thing? Also the snood I knitted has not turned out as planned so I am turning it into a bag - any tips on how to line it with fabric and what to use at the handle/strap. Ta very much
For those feeling bleurgh - I sometimes decide on days like that to do only what I absolutely have to and the rest of the time recharge, sort those old magazines, drink cups of tea and allow yourself the day as it is without giving yourself a hard time. What about flicking through recipe books for autumnal ideas? Don't spend the day on the computer though. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning all
It is a dank day today, I got up at around 8.15 and didnt get dressed until about 10 mins ago:eek: The day did not get off to a good start as when I added milk to my morning coffee it solidly plopped in so it all ended up down the sink:mad: Thankfully I did get some Cravendale yesterday.
Today will be a debt busting day - plus I shall be sorting out the veg purchased yesterday (the cauliflower needs to be cut up and frozen), and I am starting a mailchimp campaign, I also need to write an article for a local newspaper in an attempt to get more people to come along to my business event.
Have a good day all.0 -
Progress being made now. Freezer 1 defrosted (thank goodeness for steam cleaners) and for tea tonight we have:
1 chicken kiev:eek:
2 fishfingers:eek:
1/2b sliced boiled potatoes:eek:
1 batch of bubble and squeak:eek:
Just got to organize small freezer now and may find something there to make tea more appealing.
Can you use frozen fruit to make jam?
Any suggestions for about 2lb of frozen broad beans when I am the only one who eats them?Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Upload a piccie and I will have a look at your collar. I'm making my own patterns at the moment (so I can sell them through the blog without copyright issues )- but check out Ravelry for a source of all things knitted / crochet inspiration.
My mulberry scarf is nearly done ( knitted all the time "Shoes" was here for coffee and a natter) - its one of those with a keyhole in one end to thread the scarf through - such a bonny colour.
