Where abouts in Orlando are you heading to Greenbee? Any chance for some downtime at any of the parks?

International drive. We get a bit of time to recover from jet lag (which is usually spent unpacking and trying to remember what our presentations are about!) but it's pretty full on once it starts - breakfast, lunch and dinner accounted for every day of the conference. I do plan to use the pool...

MG what's happening with the MFi3 blog? I've subscribed but when I log in all I can see is the post on September 4 about the skirt makeover - none of the earlier posts are there?

Hope this isn't against MSE rules - it's not MG promoting her blog, it's me asking
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Good night for some and a working night for others. Which camp to join?

Hi FW - hope your leg gets better soon.

As for the working thing...mine was supposed to be a relaxing night, then I remembered I was supposed to be working on something for someone, so I grabbed the camera, popped the dog on a lead and off I went into the great (but dark) known.

Now is white wine time. Tomorrow is writing up time. :)

Hi lovelies, thanks for all your kind words. He will call me on Monday to give feedback. If he tells me then that he wants to offer it will still be a few days before he can because the legal stuff with the site is still ongoing. He is looking for a manager who can present to customers a lot. I was SOOOO excited about this as I sadly LOVE presenting. We had a great chat and when he saw me off he said 'I'll spk to you on Monday but I think you know where it's going from this chat' so I think it went well!!!!

Had a wibble after the interview as still in limbo really but its all positive and been out for a few bevvies tonight.

Thanks again. I read your kind words in the interview venue and they really helped me X

One thing is certain though - working in bed with legs up sounds very good but is easily the most inefficient and annoying thing I have had to do for a long time. A choice has been made by the Firewalker: no more bed, no more feet up. I'll wear the stocking, will take my medication but will work at my desk - at least this way I really get stuff written.

Try setting a timer - whatever minutes you decide - and get up and move when it beeps. When I was working and needed to be sure I moved (or someone might have had to carry me out of the office), i got my IT guy to write a little programme that popped up every 20 min and displayed "MOVE" on my screen.

It's not easy - but think of the alternative. DVT is not to be played with.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?
