Eeek take care of you Claire - sounds ouchy and nasty
Nowt much here today apart from gym fees for ds, dancing fees for dd, and new tap/ballet shoes as her ladyship's feet have grown again and she can't get her toes in - bye bye to my £100 winnings.
Did manage to get our car insurances down by £350 last night, but still trying to get them lower if possible. Although Direct Lines reasoning for mine shooting up was great "yours is a very common car (focus) so statistically there are more accidents and claims involving them so your premium is higher than dh's as his car is less popular!!!" Even though dh has points on his licence and he wrote off a mondeo 5 years ago. What a stupid system as I think I told him!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

MG what's happening with the MFi3 blog? I've subscribed but when I log in all I can see is the post on September 4 about the skirt makeover - none of the earlier posts are there?
Hope this isn't against MSE rules - it's not MG promoting her blog, it's me asking
I just popped on to ask the same thing! I wasn't sure who to contact to ask how to sort it.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I am going through my clothes again in an attempt to clear some room for OH's stuff. I have got rid of a whole lot of ancient work socks (nylon really is indestructible), and been through my tights. I now know I have lots I can use for work (so will return the new ones to M&S when I'm back) but also have lots of nylon opaques which I really don't wear (I indulge in organic cotton tights now I'm at home as they're warm and cosy and come in nice colours). I need to make an effort to use them. Or just dump them...
Gardener has been so everything is sorted for next week. Old spare bed and wardrobe will be removed, expanding foam in utility room outside wall will be replaced with bricks, front door frame will be sealed, back doors will be given another coat of sikkens as I found it in the shed, and all the upstairs windows and sills that I can clear a path to will be painted! He's also got some garden stuff to do, and will keep an eye of the place.
I MUST call plasterers etc next week as it would be great to get the house sorted by christmas (not quite as ambitious as MFi3, but still a challenge!).0
