MG I do like "1 Mum, 2 boys, 3 years"
Is there anything we (the Matrix) can do to help you with MFi3?If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

I abandoned my shredder over a year ago. The bloomin' thing kept sticking after a while and would need to cool down  Because of that I resolved if I wasn't going to use the shredder then I needed to deal with my paperwork that I wasn't going to keep far quicker than I used to (previously shoved in a folder marked "shredding" :rotfl:) So all these credit card applications and junk mail with my personal details on have the important info torn off and this gets manually shredded and the remained recycled. As such my filing has reduced dramatically to what it was and although I do end up with a little pile that moved from my side of the bed to the floor every day if I actually did it once a week I'd be on top of my filing. So resolve is to do filing once a week and a small bonfire for old receipts (to soothe the secret pyromaniac tendencies within :rotfl:).I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Like the new blog MG (btw there has been some discussion in OS about promoting blogs, your own or friend's, so I guess we need to keep it low profile here...).
Just a thought - does everyone have all their accounts set up for online access? I can now go in and check exactly how much is outstanding on my mortgage at any point in time, which helps. And have you looked at the calculators (google them or look on the MFW board) that show you what the impact is of different payments at different times on the life of your mortgage.
Finally, remember that we need to think about generating income streams not just about cutting back as most of you have cut back as far as possible. MG - if those hats only take you an evening, can you do one a week while watching your saturday night movie with the boys? The website being discussed on the other side might be the answer as an outlet if we can collaborate a bit more on it... Maybe we should continue the discussion over there...0 -
Morning Matrix
Mainly doing chores out of the house today all well planned to avoid wasting petrol.
I'm pondering at the moment, may post over on the other side later for a bit of advise if I can get my thoughts in order enough so that it is just a random ramble of words.

I've got a spreadsheet which calculates mortgage/loan balance, effect of over payments. I can share...0

Sounds good tmif, please do share maybe on t'ther side???. I play around with this mortgage calculator - well keeps me amused.
I like the one Mum, two boys, three years tag-line MG.
Tired this morning after all my exertions yesterday, so a gentler day is in order. Need to rake up the grass from yesterday, and weed the path before the rain sets in. Also need to make some coleslaw - quiche, new pots and hm coleslaw for tea tonight (yum) and take ds for a haircut. That lot plus the ironing, getting house paperwork / finances up-to-date and working out how to do the thumb on dd's mittens should keep me out of mischief for a wee while.
Am off to find the new b**g. Have a good day all, Thriftyxxx0 -
There's this one, which I found on here on mfw.
