    Erm - maybe :rotfl:

Will try and write it up for you hon - it will be on all the w's mortgage free in three dot com tomorrow for you.

It uses about 1oz of wool - fits DS2 (3) way down over his ears, DS1 (11) as a proper over the ears beanie and me as a neat half-way over the ears hat. Took me one evening to knit so quite quick.

BTW - said tomorrow cos I am still sorting out the bits n bobs on the site - like I cannot figure out how to change the strapline for instance. May have to shout for MrF

What do you think the strapline should be? Something that rhymes with MFi3 ?????

    What about

    - a challenge to be bank - free

erm, am completely out of inspiration. Where is fantasia when you need her literary skills :D

    Does it have to rhyme?

Yippee:beer: £80-worth of broadband costs being refunded via expenses :D

I should have done this before... Never mind, it will be on the list to do every month when the bill arrives from now on! And the good news is, I now don't have to worry about going over my download limit...

ETA - much as I'd love to be bank-free, I don't think it is realistic... How would I be paid or pay anyone? Unless I went to live in a commune...

I love broccoli too (I think hex might have mentioned it... :o) I hope you're planting purple sprouting for the spring MG :D

Tonight, however, I am having corn on the cob followed by pasta with fresh tomatoes, chopped basil, garlic and a splash of olive oil.

Any news on the lodgers? And what about running matrix retreats during the holidays?

I have another doctors appointment... I rang up to ask for a blood test to see whether I need to increase or decrease the iron supplement... And I don't think she's convinced when I tell her i'm confident it isn't DVT. I really hope it isn't as I fly to the US in a few weeks...

Oh dear! thinking of you and hoping it isn't.

    ???

Off work today and tomorrow, still feeling surprisingly fragile after my encounter with the oral surgeon. She did warn me I wouldn't like her over the next week or so :rotfl::rotfl:

Crawls back in the room - well front jungle strimmed to an inch of its life, second coat of stain on the bird-feeder and third coat of paint on the boarded up garage window. Definitely counts as a good days work and ties in with my aim for a more pleasant living environment.

Think it'll be pj time very shortly.

Eta: not very good with words but will think on.

Me too. I've had enough of this being ill cr*p. I want to go running, have lots of energy and spend my time having fun and seeing friends, not sitting on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.

Thrifty... A more pleasant living environment makes so many other things much easier. (did i mention that my house is now clean:p)

I quite like that - the only thing I came up with was

"One Mum, Two Boys, Three Years"

Up really early this morning as DS2 is full of the cold - red cheeks, puffy eyes, sneezing and runny nose - the full house. Welcome back to school germs I suppose.

    Yesterdays challenge from the Mentor:

Today you are going to start taking the little piles of paper you have created and start filing them away for future use.

One piece of advice from the Mentors - keep it simple. The easier your filing system is to use the more you will use it.

How's about setting aside 30 minutes "homework" on a Sunday evening to catch up with your filing and find all the paperwork for the week ahead?

Or a convenient box / basket that you can stash all your post as soon as you receive it so that it doesn't migrate all around the house with you?

What would work for you to tame your paperwork dragon?

Off to post the new one for the Matrixettes.

Check the MFi3 blog for your pattern Claire - hope it makes sense to you. Throw the bag pattern over again - it got lost when my computer was rebuilt.

    Back soon
