    Good morning

Ds2 has helped me clear the top of the freezers and the windowsill in the kitchen, he has even cleaned them for me, just need to find homes for the stuff now, altough most can go down the shed as they are dh's tools paint etc.

Dh has rung, he will be home lunch time, he had his holidays wrong, he thought they were next week and the week after, but they are this week and next lol. So he can help with some de cluttering.

I have to meet mum at 11.15 she is going to her friends caravan for a few days. So I've got to go to Cardiff with her and put her on the bus and her friend will meet her the other end.

Big woohoo this morning as have made it week 3 of couch to 5k walk/runs and this morning managed 3 whole minutes of 'running' without needing an ambulance:j

WM done, DW done, windows all open, all kids fed and dressed, shredding in progress and school work lined up nicely...in the words of DS when he's playing on Mario "Here I go!"

I've got DD hard at work cleaning out the inside of the car, the hoover will make a rare appearance and she'll earn £2 towards her wishlist in Argos! I've also decided to give her 50p a week pocket money if does some chores each week. Wonder how long that'll happen, but I'm determined I'm not going to buy her the tut she desperately wants, and she came up with the idea of saving up for it, good girl :)

Now, just to do the rest of the house.....eeek! Maybe having a tidy car will inspire us ha ha ha ha ha..........
  • Is it super sad that i have taken a day and half of annual leave so I can get my house and garden straight?! I will be off work tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday. I am writing my list of jobs to be done at the moment. I have lots and lots of stuff to move, declutter, organise, re-organise, and I have not had the energy to do many of them lately. However, I do not want to spend the bank holiday weekend cleaning my house. So, I intend to get the place shining by the end of Tuesday (or at least, that is the plan!!)

The list of jobs is going to be very, very long indeed!! :o

    Morning Ladies,

I have just found a quote in my diary which I thought was quite apt for our August decluttering so I thought I would share it with you

Well done, Maru. Are there any other left?

My news is that it is really hot here - there is Amber alert about the heat. Not much wok possible but doing my best. If bad come to worse I will have to stay up tonight and have the air-conditioning on.

I did manage to make a plan for finishing the work, though.
