Chapatti flour will need to have another plan though
MG
I hadn't thought of that. Will go and do that in a mibute. My house is clean
What she achieved in 4 hours is more than I would normally manage in a week... She doesn't have any regular free slots, but is going to let me know whenever she has a cancellation. So I have incentive to get my study cleared, and she can do that next time.
I used to find the same when I had a cleaner - I suppose they don't get sidetracked and also know they only have a fixed length of time? Maybe we should all swap and do one another's houses? :rotfl:I dont buy in bulk, it was a new bag of flour.
Good grief!:eek:But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

I am not sure if the weevils were in another bag of wholemeal flour that I had opened in the cupboard and so infested the cupboard or if they were in the new bag. Otherwise I would have taken the bag back to the shop. Never mind its not the end of the world, just a bit of an inconvenience.
Busy day here. Just finished work and went straight into the bedroom to have a good tidy up. Washing Machine on for the third time.
MG, how is DS2 going today? And how is DS1 getting on at school has he made lots of new friends? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. DS2 has had one accident - got too involved watching Mr Tumble
DS1 - well his Head Teacher thinks "he's a lovely lad" and his new Male Teacher thinks he's "shy, sensitive and smart".:j
Home baking incident has been enquired into - turns out there were a group of kids with Millionaires shortbread and choccie gateau (not just cake but creamy version). So a word was had about home baking in general but in specific reference to the overly sugary/ gooey stuff. Think his HM rasp muffins passed muster.
Head is actually very pleased to see DS1 wih such a healthy lunchbox - though she did think it a bit strange that half his lunch one day was steamed broccoli. She aint seen nothing yet - broccoli picking started this morning so we will be eating it by the carrier bag full:rotfl::rotfl:
Before you think I am a cruel Mummy - DS's love steamed broccoli dipped into spicy dal for lunch - so its a treat rather than a punishment.
Head wants to be signed up to the MFi3 blog if I am sharing the recipes - so I'd better behave myself on there
Just going to finish a beanie hat for DS2 for the cooler weather - it was darn nippy in the garden this morning I can tell you.

Erm - maybe :rotfl:
Will try and write it up for you hon - it will be on all the w's mortgage free in three dot com tomorrow for you.
It uses about 1oz of wool - fits DS2 (3) way down over his ears, DS1 (11) as a proper over the ears beanie and me as a neat half-way over the ears hat. Took me one evening to knit so quite quick.
BTW - said tomorrow cos I am still sorting out the bits n bobs on the site - like I cannot figure out how to change the strapline for instance. May have to shout for MrF
What do you think the strapline should be? Something that rhymes with MFi3 ?????
What about

I love broccoli too (I think hex might have mentioned it...
) I hope you're planting purple sprouting for the spring MG
Tonight, however, I am having corn on the cob followed by pasta with fresh tomatoes, chopped basil, garlic and a splash of olive oil.
Any news on the lodgers? And what about running matrix retreats during the holidays?
I have another doctors appointment... I rang up to ask for a blood test to see whether I need to increase or decrease the iron supplement... And I don't think she's convinced when I tell her i'm confident it isn't DVT. I really hope it isn't as I fly to the US in a few weeks...0 -
Thankyou, can you make it in easy instructions lol, did you manage to have a look at those bag instructions i sent you as well?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000

Reporting in from a good days working - dd has planned first 3 history lessons for me since she was in year 4 last year and did a lot of the same topics. She has also given me all her books to erm... borrow ideas from!
Have also hacked at climber on soon to be rebuilt wall, emptied playhouse and decluttered 3 years of faded spidery plastic toys. Friends coming over for a play tomorrow afternoon and their dd is having a sleepover so going to do some 15 mins to get house in reasonable state before they arrive - then more school workMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
