Hi Diary,
Hi MrsP, hope you enjoyed your wine.
Well what a weekend. I took DD to play with my mates DS on Friday and had some wine and a natter, then Saturday we got a delivery of caterpillars for DD's butterfly farm which we took pics of so we can make scrap book of the process.
Then in the afternoon we washed our car (was very impressed with self and DD) and then my mate came over whilst our DD's played, and we had more wine.
Yesterday (no wine), just a little shopping trip. I was meant to be having a lovely day with just DM but ex OH decided he was going to work on Sunday (overtime) and failed to tell me until Friday, so I had to take DD with me shopping! She was bored after an hour bless her.
Anyway I couldn't get any red jeans as they were all too short, think my legs are 33 inches and the longest I could find were 32. So I have ordered them from Next and they take 7 weeks...woe is me.
Good news, I have managed to get my Gas and Electic down to £90 a month (from £130). The bad news is mortgages are going up. !!!!!!? So in one hand and out of the other.
House was like a pigsty yesterday, managed to get 30 mins cleaning in before DD came back. I have got washing and ironing to do yet and a bit of titivation.
Had NSD on Saturday and possibly having one today. Tomorrow or Wed I need to go for petrol and whilst I am out I will get some other bits I am short of...starting to make list as we speak.
Forgot to say, ex OH got refused a loan! Great!!! I can't see him applying for another one.

Hi Diary,
Quick update tonight.
Im shattered again, DD has been full of busy right up until she gets into bed the last two nights so when its me time I just go to bed too.
Had a couple of meetings today and as Project Manager I felt every one was getting at me for the project taking so long and I just felt like crying in the meeting as I can't do it all on my own...must be a bit emotional at the moment.
Popped for petrol on the way home and had a nightmare with DD as she just wants to buy all the sweets in the shop, I have to drag her away crying with the cheapest thing I can find as we have loads in the cupboards.
Hoping petrol lasts until pay day as could do with the extra money I have put in the petrol budget for the month.
Nothing to report from me really, could do with nipping to Mr Als on Thurs lunch time, then whilst I am there can see all the special offers.
I wish some one would come and buy my house...want to be in my own space.
Watching Gypsy Wedding...love it.

Hi Livvy,
How are you I thought of you last night when I was catching up with superscrimpers, think it was the last one
. Although tbh I could be getting paid to do that programme as I already know most of it :rotfl:!!!
I like gypsy weddings too!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy, I'm good thanks, hows you? I was full of the joys of spring this morning but work has taken it out of me mentally.
I was thinking the same about Super Scrimpers, infact I was a bit excited as I have DD's money in Halifax which Mrs MP said was best.
Been thinking 2day about opening a Santander 123 account & just changing bills over when I move house, it keeps money away from ex OH 2 as he has access 2 bills account at mo.
Popped 2 Mr Als 2day 4 some bits...spent £40! Not sure how.
I am sure DD is hyperactive, she doesn't stop from the moment she gets up until bed its not a good mix when I'm worn out from work. Think I'm driven 2 wine ha ha, well that's my excuse!

Hi Diary,
Im shattered today, managed to get up at 6:10 and I made it into work for 8:15, I need to shave another 15 mins off so I can go home at 4:30 on a night. Its difficult with a 3 year old.
My car hasn't been very well, so on Monday I took it into my mates garage. It was close to leaving me stranded at the retail park on Sunday but I eventually got it started after a few attempts.
Anyway the mechanic said that there was a few computer errors and he wasn't sure which one it was, so he has reset the computer and I have to drive it for a bit to see if the light comes on again...so I am now driving round worried about conking out.
Spent lots of money at the weekend on DD's clothes (out of her spends account), all her nursery clothes are too short now so I went to George and got clothes aged 4-5 (she is only 3 and a half).
Applied for a Santander 123 account today, the plan is to move all my bills over there when I get a new pad. If I already have an account set up it will be much easier than moving and then changing bank account details. I struggled with all the questions it asked though because my outgoings and incomings are all over the place with ex's contributions and joint loans that I don't pay.
Popped to Mr Al's yesterday, stuck to my list and also got 2 extra eggs as they only cost £1 each. I have bought DD a Hello Kitty one from M&S, I was going to buy neice one until I noticed they were £6 each or 3 for 2. Think she can have a £1 buttons one instead lol.
Its come out nice and warm here now, the sun is shining so I am going to attempt to sort some of my closet out when I get home because when it gets dark I cba. Roll on summer nights, I feel a list coming on as I am sitting here thinking about everything I need to do at home.

Hi Diary,
Just grabbing my lunch quickly, I have been busy today at work. The bread I bought from Aldi's is hard...am gutted! It has been in the freezer but usually stays soft.
I was up at 6:15 this morning as I fell back to sleep after the alarm, I didn't have very good dreams last night so was glad to get up.
I managed to get the dishwasher and washer on before I set off.
Nothing to report really, no change in money and car hasn't conked out yet.

Dear Diary,
Hope everyone is OK and had lovely Mothers Days.
Mine was a rare treat, DM, DD and I went to a lovely restaurant for our lunch. Tbh the price for a 3 course lunch wasn't as expensive as I was expecting so treated DM to her meal and wine. DD was quite bored but entertained herself by singing and watching other people. We were slightly put off our desert when a poor lady fell head first down the stairs out of the conservatory, but she wasn't as badly hurt as we initially thought. Poor DD has been scarred by the incident as has talked about it ever since, she was very close to tears at the time as she is a sensitive soul.
Had 3 bits of good news money wise, I got accepted for the Santander 123 account, my council tax has been reduced by £100 a month as I told them OH had moved out, and we are getting a works bonus of 6.05%. So was a very pleased mummy this weekend.
My Dad is coming to stay next weekend, am a bit worried as DD is a bit funny about strange men in the house and to be fair she hasn't seen him for 2 years.
Anyway I am looking forward to seeing him and I think he worries about me (living so far away) so I can show him I am OK.
Made a start on the shed on Saturday morning, there have been rats in there so I have left poison down...once I am satisfied there are no more rats around I will venture back in again for round 2.
Bye for now
xx

Hi Livvy,
Im glad you had a lovely weekend, oh dear to the lady that could have been nasty couldnt it.
Wow to your 3 bits of good news, particularly loving the 6% bonus :T!!!! Have you thought about what you might spend it on or save?
OMG to the rats, I dont think id be going in there ever again haha! We used to have field mice at our old house and OMG I have never screamed so much in my whole life!!!!
Glad everythings going well xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Aw I know, I thought it was going to be something nasty. My mum was telling me not to look when they picked her up. I was expecting ambulances the lot. But luckily she walked away from it.
I am thinking I might treat myself to a new black large handbag and save the rest in my secret bank account. Its a pity I can't save it in my new Santander account as its a good APR, but that account will be on the radar when we sell the house, so best keep it hidden as I don't want to have to share it!
Aw I am so worried about the rats, although saying that I did find a dead field mouse when I put the poison down last year and nothing seems to have eaten the poison I put down on Saturday yet!
LOL, I jumped a mile when something fell on my head whilst cleaning out the shed...imagine if I had seen a rat?
I went to bed at 8 last night, I was so tired and needed to refresh my batteries...I am so rock n roll!
Nothing to report from me, I have made a shopping list and ordered my Mr T shop to come tomorrow night as I am busy from Thursday onwards. Will have to go to Mr Al's Friday lunch time as otherwise my Dad will have nothing to eat.
