Awwww Livvy I really feel for you with the dog. Have you managed to sleep ok last night? I can totally relate to having to rehome a dog as we did it after DD2 was born with 1 of ours as he was too unruley (this had been going on for the best part of 6 years!) and I just couldnt cope with him, the other dog and 2 kids under 2!

It was the best thing we ever did, for us and for him. He now has someone that can give him the attention we couldnt and who hardly leaves the house so hes always got someone there with him. Then after he had gone I cried for my other dog who might be lonely!! He has been absolutely fine though and you dont even know hes there half the time.

In time you will feel better (hugs) to you xx

    Good afternoon.

Aw thanks mummy, I keep filling up when I think about him. I was with him 8 years since he was a puppy (almost as long as OH). Just the little things set me off like him not being there on a morning, or trying his luck when you scrape food into the bin.

The lady said that he won't be with them at the kennels long as there is a couple who have not long lost a boxer dog and would like another one. So I am glad he will be with people who know how to look after him.

Am going to have to move on now from that topic now as I will be in tears at my desk again.

OK, so money. I was very good yesterday, I managed to clean out my fridge and my freezer. I made a list of what I had and then put together a menu plan and did some online shopping in T*sco. I can't get too much now as my chest freezer is broken. I only spent £64 and that was with 2 bottles of wine. That should feed us for well over a week.
There are things I could have got from Aldi but I could do without a trip there this week, will go next week.

Today I have HM spag bol from yesterday for my lunch but still don't feel like eating.

One of the men in the office has asked me to help with his finances seeing as though I manage mine so well :D. I think I am in the wrong job. The thing is, I love doing peoples finances too lol.

OH has text to say he has flu and tonsilitis so can't have DD tonight.

    Got another house viewing tomorrow.

Right, today I am feeling slightly happier. I had a SKYPE with my friend which cheered me up last night and I don't feel as poorly. I still think this is my year...just its a late developer.

I had a word with the manager at nursery this morning as they hadn't deducted £15 off my bill for recommending them to a friend...I know its only £15 but its better in my pocket.

Asked OH to cancel pet insurance as its in his name...he said he would try and do it this afternoon !!!!!!! He is obviously dying.

I have updated my meal plan in my spreadsheet. It's a bit difficult without my freezer inventory, can't remember whats in there. I had beef baguette and southern fried chips last night.

DM is doing my house viewings on Thursday (I have 2), she is wonderful. I'm so pleased because I can't stand doing them.

DD hasn't been tired the last few nights at bed time, so tonight I am adding 30 mins on. She will go in the bath at 7. This also gives me time to have my tea beforehand, as a lot of the time I have to wait until after she has gone to bed and then I get past it.

Come on February...make me lucky ;)

  • We've all survived January LL! 2012 is just a slow starter :)

My car went today, it was hard, can't imagine how difficult it must be to have to sell your house *hugs*

I'm sure there's a saying about every new beginning coming from some other beginnings end. I'm trying to see all these little steps as getting closer to a new beginning, FNL!xx
    I'll get there!

    Hi Mrs P,

Aw...bye bye car! I bet it was hard, I have looked at your savings from you car going though and they are huge, well done for being so strong and going through with it.

One day at a time ey? I think you have done your years days in one month ha ha.

I am sat updating the software on my iphone, was a bit reluctant before as I have important text messages on it that I didn't want to lose (they might be needed for evidence later)...it said it would take 1 hour and the time thing now says 4 hours left!!! I should have know (working in IT) that the stupid time estimator is always way out. I want my bed.

  • Hi there,
Well my upgrade didn't work. I went to bed and left it running and then at 4:30 this morning I woke up when DD got in my bed and the thing had errored. So I ran it again and it took 4 hours and nothing has changed on my phone, so back to square one again tonight.

I have worked out that I will get about £300 extra in my pay next month so I called the bank and opened a new savings account called House and Emergency. I think that all my other budgets are correct now so the best thing to do is just to start saving, this can be my house decorating budget for when I move, should manage £150 in it every month following Feb.

I have done nothing but eat today, I am pleased with that because my weight just keeps going down and I need to be healthy for DD. I had a free twix and a free piece of cake.

Tonight I will have fahitas for tea. I will have to cut up one of my steaks but am not sure whether to cut up the M&S rib eye or the huge rump I got in the whoopsie bit in Tesco....me thinks the rump.

I tried to win a lippy with my special K cereal bars but the website doesn't recognise my code...not impressed.

  • Good Morning,

Its freezing here today, my fingers were like ice driving to work. Its apparently going to snow at the weekend but I really hope not.

Money is fine today, I have updated my monthly planner for next month to allocate my wage into my different accounts including my new account, I have had a guess at what I will pick up in my pay packet but I am probably being a bit optimistic lol.
I have also added £50 to my new account, which leaves me £276 in my current account, I don't have any plans this month so this should be enough.

DD has 4 birthday parties this month, I have money put away in my birthday account so will use that to spend on pressies, although I think exOH should buy at least one of them as it is for his neice.

Talking of OH he called last night to speak to DD, I asked him about him getting a new loan again (to take my name off the other) and he said he has been too ill !!!!!!! He has known about it for ages and only been ill since Sunday, he is just dragging his feet. If he doesn't do it while I am being nice then am going to have to think of a different angle. I said that he needed to do it as it will get paid out of the house profit and he doesn't want that. Also I said I won't be able to get a mortgage if he doesn't do it...I wanted to say that I won't sign the house over to sell if I can't get my mortgage but whilst things are OK between us I will wait and see if he sorts it out first.

The house is all tidy ready for the 2 house viewings today and on Saturday there is a man coming to view who doesn't have anything to sell...OMG I hope he likes it.

Didn't have fajitas for tea last night as I couldn't be bothered and I thought they would make the house smell, must have them tonight though.

Finally got my phone upgraded...only thing missing is my ring tone.

  • Good Afternoon diary,

Hi Mummy, aw I am a pj's and dressing gown girl too. I can't wait to put mine on when I get in from work.
The man without the chain is coming tomorrow lunch time, not sure how I am going to keep the place tidy in the morning when I have a 3 year old who eats non stop and gets all her toys out at once.

Well I am proud of myself today, I had to pop out at lunch time to pick up a parcel and I was running low on petrol so thought I would pop to MrT to fill up with my 10p off a litre voucher.
Then as I was browsing MSE. before I went, I noticed that Aldi had a £5 off £30 spend voucher in the Sun so I popped to the shop at work and bought a Sun. So on my way back from MrT I nipped into Aldi and spent £45 on fresh food, biccies and wine. I seriously don't think I will need to shop for 2 weeks now, just as well seeing as though the snow is coming.

I didn't have any crisps left in the cupboard this morning so I am eating a bag which are a month out of date lol, they taste fine...praps just because I am starving.

YEY to it being Friday, I might go home early and have some time to myself seeing as though OH is meant to be picking up DD from nursery...not that am holding my breath because he 'forgot' to cancel the pet insurance yesterday.

  • Morning,

DD and I are still in bed chilling out, DD is playing with my iphone and watching Ben and Holly. I am trying to reduce mess by keeping us in one place for a while, the house viewer is due at 12:15.

Once he has been then we are going out to my friends whose little boy is the same age as DD, they can have a play and we can have a chat.

Pizza for tea before the coleslaw goes out of date.

No snow yet...fingers crossed it stays away.

    Going for an NSD today.
