Hi,
Hi MrsP, I know thats the only good side of him not having DD (its no skin off my nose I take her everywhere), but I just think how can I plan anything? What if I had plans for Sunday?
Lol, I wondered how old they were when they developed the man flu traits.
OK so its payday YEY! I have topped up all my pots and I am happy. The extra payment to my pension only worked out £22 this month, I know it will be more next month when I get my cost of living rise but I have worked it into the budget, and next month we are due to get it back dated so with that and the council tax free month I should have extra pennies.
I am going to treat myself to a new tv and a chest freezer when I move house. Hopefully I will be able to buy them out of my bonus and it will be a little pressie for my new home.
Just had a phone call with a new viewing...she can only do the morning of the 2nd or the 6th! What is that all about? Shouldn't she be working around me?

Sorry to hear about the dog getting rehomed
You're doing the right thing though, it's hard going looking after a little one, a home, debt busting and working.xx I'll get there!0 -
Awe sorry to hear about your dog. Have you met the new owners? Does OH know, do you think he might change his mind and take it himself now he knows your serious?0

Hi,
He hasn't got new owners yet, he goes to the boarding kennels (where he goes when we go on holidays) for a little while and then when they find him some where they do a number of home checks to make sure he is happy.
He needs castrating and they do it for us, they said it would cost us a fortune (£300) if we go to the vets.
I doubt OH would take him as he is living at his DM's and says that he wants to work away. Originally he said he would take him but its been a year now and I still have him on my own.
He hardly gets walked and I have a lot of cleaning up after him so I know its for the best just I have had him since he was a puppy, feel like I am betraying him.

Have you considered an outside run/kennel, would that solve the clearing up problems? My fear for you is you are already going through a grieving process re your marriage ending and it seems harsh on you to put yourself through this too at this time.
Have you told OH?0 -
He is a boxer dog so really big, we have a kennel outside but he only sits outside the back door and howls.
I have told OH I was looking into it, will tell him today when he finishes work that he is going Saturday so to say goodbye, not that he ever comes to take him out or see him anyway.
I know, I was sat here all upset and I agree it is another big thing to go through.

Hi everyone,
Just a quicky today as I am poorly. Great start to the year I'm having.
Sent letter off for 25% discount on council tax bill this morning, so thats a saving of £50 a month. Not sure what OH will say coz he is obsessed with no one knowing he has left...will cross that bridge when I come to it.
Had HM shepherds pie from the freezer tonight as soft on my very sore throat, ate too much though and now feel even worse.
Woe is me.

Good Morning,
Well it was the saddest day ever yesterday, I took my doggy to get re homed. All I have done for a week is cry, the only way for me has got to be up now.
I popped to Mr A*s on the way home yesterday and bought the essentials that I can't get in Ald*s, I spent £18. I don't think I could eat any other make of crunchy nut cf but Kell***s.
All DD's furniture is paid for now with the sale of the cot and the changer, I paid Next yesterday, she still has £400 in her spends account too.
I bought 2 dresses for work in the sale so thats all thats left on my Next bill and it looks like I am keeping them so will pay £40 tomorrow. The only thing is they are quite tight so if I put a few pounds on they might not be very forgiving, I am the slimmest I have ever been at the moment with all the stress so a few pounds on is inevitable.
Today I am going make a start on my closet clear out and cook something nice for tea. Then when DD is in bed I am going to have a nice relaxing bath to wash away my illness and doggy blues.
