Hi LL - understand what you're saying re OH now - emigrating to Canada sounds a big decision.

I agree with Alibob - do you best to get your name off the loan

    Hi there,
Thanks for popping in everyone and thanks Alibob for your kind words, I think the reason I held on for so long with OH is because I don't like confrontation and bitterness and knew that it was all to come.

OH said he is going to pay the loan with his money from the house, I am going to ask Solicitor if I can have that as a condition to how much I give him from the sale as I have said 60/40 but solicitor said I am entitled to more so if I have to pay for his loan again then I will go for more on the sale.

Hi Yellow, DD has been really poorly, she had swollen glands Saturday and then not quite right Sunday. She managed to squirt air freshner in her eye which I washed out and was really worried about and then last night she was covered in spots and was soaking in bed. I rang NHS direct and then said not to worry too much as her temp was low, DM thinks its german measles.

OH didn't want DD to sleep over on Saturday night as he said that he wasn't flavour of the month with her atm so not a good idea. He tends to shout at me in front of her and she has been really distressed about it so didn't want to be with him. He took her out to the park yesterday though so I think they are friends again (easily bought because she is 3).

Spent £60 on food yesterday and put petrol in, should only need one tank of petrol this month so I am going to use the other £60 to get a handy man in to do all the jobs that need doing in order to sell the house. OH wants to put it up for some astronomical amount and in my opinion it isn't worth that much (my opinion and 2 estate agents) but he isn't willing to put any effort into doing anything to get it looking nice so yet again I am sorting it out. I really want to get out of here but OH wants more money!

Things are a bit tough at the minute but to be expected I guess.

    xx

Poor dd, hope that she's feeling better soon. My son was ill for about 6 weeks until Christmas, he's 4, it was just one thing after another, I think once their defences are low it's really hard to get back to normal.

I think it's a good idea to get something legally drawn up with regard to the joint loan, I know that it's hard but you're doing really well.

Hi Livvy, hows DD? Poor little thing doesnt sound too good.

Im not surprised she gets all distressed if OH shouts at you in front of her. Not sure why he cant see this and stop it!

Fingers crossed the house sells quickly and without too much stress xx

  • Morning everyone,

Hi Mummy, DD is back at nursery today although she was so upset when I left, the spots seem to be going now...they were viral!!!!

I must get started with this diary every day. I just find I don't have time at the moment as I have so much to do.

Money isn't too bad, I had an NSD yesterday but on Tuesday I spent about £200 on decoration for DD's room. I have borrowed it from my clothes and entertainment for now as I am hoping to sell her cot and changer on Ebay asap and I noticed a cot the same as hers for sale and was £295 with 5 hours left to go.
So todays job is going on the Mamas and Papas website for the dimensions so I can get it on Ebay tonight.

I went to see Financial Advisor yesterday just to see how much mortgage I could get and what type of houses I should be looking at. Things were as expected really, I just need to call him back when I have definite figures.

Things with OH are ticking over, after the talk about how he was upsetting DD when we (I said we so he didn't think I blamed him) argued he has been OK. We were discussing his access to DD last night and he says he doesn't think its a good idea for DD to sleep over with him whilst he is living at his mums as there isn't enough space! Personally I think its an excuse but hey, I get to have DD every night so Im happy. I also showed him all the furniture I have bought and was building to put in DD's bedroom and he offered to fit the lamp shade!!!!

Well my best friends husband was horrified I was building the furniture myself and has offered to come and do it for me at the weekend even though he has a lot of his own jobs. I think its so lovely of him to take time to do this for me when OH didn't offer to do any of it for his own DD.

Anyway onwards and upwards! Can't wait to use my clothes and entertainment money to treat myself to something lovely soon.

    xx

    Hi Mummy,
I have just ebayed the items and already some one has asked for a buy it now price for both items. Hopefully they will get interest and pay for the furniture Ive already bought for DD. I haven't even dismantled the furniture Im selling yet ha ha, infact DD is in the bed.
Mates husband is so good to me, I am lucky.

I had pasta bake for tea and the other half is going to work tomorrow for lunch. Im so tired tonight and I don't know why.

Ive had another NSD today. Good job because there isn't much left until pay day...2 weeks yesterday! I can't believe it...will just be a hermit for a week or so whilst I get on with my mammouth list of jobs.

I am too full from my tea tonight so going to have a chill and an early night.

I had a massive clean up of my desk at work today, I am feeling ruthless. I found allsorts in my drawers and papers which had been there (in my to do box) since 2007!!! That was before I went off on maternity leave.
I feel like this year is out with the old and in with the new.

    Hi Livvy,

Fantastic news about the messages on Ebay, fingers crossed they come back with a decent offer you can accept.

Payday is about 2 weeks yesterday away for me too!! Ive got about £20 left in my tin but we will be taking some money from the joint account for our week away so I know the end is in sight if you know what I mean!

Good on you with your 2012 motto, keep it up xx

Hope things work out with the furniture and redecoration - and selling the house at a decent price. Stand firm with ex - as you are doing the lion share of the work with DD
