  • Hi everyone,
Hi Yellow, thanks for dropping by. I know, I love home made food I just don't get time to make any. If I do cook I normally make a couple of portions and freeze it for ease.

I have bought some more Xmas pressies, started on DM's and got some stocking fillers today for DD. I have also ordered her some clothes...will pay them off on payday (Fri).

I have issued a bill for OH for the things he owes me for on payday ha ha.

I now only have 3 people left to buy for with an estimated spend of £100! I have £300 left in my Xmas savings, will buy OH something but it will not be £200! I will buy Grandmas pressie with M&S vouchers I found. ;)

I'll use the left over money to pay for days out for DD throughout December, I would like to take her on the Santa Cruise again and we have a pantomime already booked and paid for. I would like to arrange breakfast with Santa at the local Hall where they have reindeer too.

OH buying us a takeaway tonight, I said it was about time he paid for a meal for me for all the ones I have cooked for him! I am being very brutal these days ha ha.

OMG I have booked breakfast with Santa...am so excited. DD will love it! :j

  • Hi All,
Crappy day for me today, had a little get together to say bye to my friend who is leaving on maternity leave. We were just all chatting about babies etc and then the woman who I had told about me and OH (not by choice but she interrogated me that much about things at home I got upset and ended up telling her) piped up that she didn't know me and OH were getting back together. There was about 15 people in that meeting that didn't know anything about me and OH and they didn't know for a reason! I was very blunt and said...thanks for letting everyone know, and then just wanted the world to swallow me up, everyone just looked embarrassed and you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife.

Pay day tomorrow yey! It seems like its been a really long week. I have just gone for something easy for tea and nothing to be had, I forgot to buy milk today so no cereal for me tomorrow plus I have gone for some bread and only one piece left, so thats sarnies and toast out of the window.

Home insurance bought and I have looked to see what service is required on my car, so tomorrow I need to ring the garage and get a price.

NSD day for me today...infact the company Lawyer gave me a packet of crisps as they were on offer in the works shop bless him...so I made 33p lol.

DD has been really tearful today, hope she isn't feeling poorly. She is meant to be at MIL's tomorrow...then only 6 days left (and counting).

Got letter from PPI claim this week to say Im not entitled to anything !!!!!!! I will be glad to see the back of 2011.

  • What gets me Yellow is that is my life, not some great bit of gossip. She sent me an email to apologise but it was making fun out of the situation...saying Whoops! So I sent one back and said that I hadn't told those people for a reason, people knowing at work just adds to everything else that is going on in my life.
A year ago I would have said it didn't matter but it does matter to me and I felt she needed to know.

Yeah well I feel the same about payday. I always get excited to get my payslip but there is never anything different in it, well except when it goes down for tax readjustments...it was only down by a penny today so happy about that.
Some people in my office don't pick their payslips up from one month to the next and when I have questioned it they don't even know how much they get every month! Must have too much money.

    Hi Diary,

Today has been spent doing accounts and getting spreadsheet ready for next year. I totted up my spends and without holiday or Christmas pressies its actually less than all months I have recorded.

I called about car service today at the cheaper garage and they said £80...which is £200 less than I expected phew! Tyres will be £11 each to put on so I think I can just about afford everything and have a little bit left over.

Have so much to do this weekend, I have made a list and hopefully will get it all done.

In bed now still with sore throat and feel a bit off colour. Going for my free flu jab at work on Monday, then at least I have one less thing to worry about if I start to feel ill again.

Bought some milk today from work and stored it in the fridge, some cheeky git has opened it and used it in their tea!!!! I am about half a pint down already.

Going to watch Im a Celeb and then go to sleep.

Well done on the spreadsheets LL, it's high time I sat down and sorted next Yeats finances out.
That's brilliant about the car service price although I hate paying for car stuff even petrol! I feel like it's such a con

  • Dear Diary,

Well what a busy weekend. I managed to get all my food shopping done and all my ironing. I washed all the bedding and thats all back on now except my duvet cover which wasn't dry in time for bed grrrr!

Went to a 40th birthday open house Saturday and I took DD to soft play and had lunch yesterday. The dog now has a dog walker (yey!), OH can't actually see that he should be walking the dog because he doesn't live there.

We are at counselling tonight at 5pm so won't get in until late, then DD will be going straight to bed bless.

I had £17 in Top Cash Back so have transferred it to my bank, I had a present to buy which cost £20 so thats that cancelled but if I didn't have it it would have come from else where.

The Car garage reckons that one of the service lights on in my car is MOT...well Ive already had one of those so I only need break fluid replacing £90. I know Yellow, it does my head in too...cars cost a fortune.

I shopped in Aldi, Poundies and Tesco over the weekend and spent a blinking fortune...£152!!! I have put all the meals on my spreadsheet today and update all the figures.

This week I need to wrap some more pressies and take them to the post office, its my friends little boys B'day soon so I will include all the Xmas pressies in the same box and make one trip to the post office. I will also write my Canadian card and post that at the same time.

Still waiting for £80 off OH, have only reminded him every day since last Thursday. This is what does my head in, he has taken my name off his account now so I can't transfer the money myself and have to rely on him. Tonight I am going to ask him why he wanted my name off the bank account so quickly but won't take it off his loan.

  • Hi,
I am feeling very organised today.

I had an NSD yesterday, was going for one today too but I needed to order some shampoo and conditioner. I'm not convinced there are going to be many NSD's in December.

Child Benefit has gone in and I have booked the works Christmas lunch (no one else ever offers) and I have also booked Santa Cruise along the river and lunch afterwards at the Italian next door for myself DM, OH and DD. Although OH still hasn't coughed up the £80 which I ask him about every day!

Hi SH, thanks for thinking of me, counselling was OK. OH got a bit of a wake up call but on the way home he was saying he thought she was having a go at him for leaving home in the first place...then he decided he wasn't going to do one of the things she asked him to do, even though it came about that the thing I want to see from him was his kindness, he kind of believes his own ideas regardless of what anyone tells him.

Then he said....I am kind! I could want to have DD half the amount of time and to sleep at my DM's over night but I don't because I know it will upset you! This really got me to thinking because it's just added to the fact I don't want him to move back in (until totally certain) for that reason, because if it goes wrong again then he will apply for DD 50/50 and he will be more entitled to it.

I think I am having pad thai prawns for tea as the beansprouts will go off shortly, I need to inspect the fridge to see what the sell by dates are on all the food.

DD was intrigued by all the presents that the Post Man brought this morning, I will have to wrap some for other people with her to put her off the scent.

    xx

  • Aw I have a poorly baby again...we went to the docs yesterday as her cough has got worse and she has a temp, plus she was complaining about her tummy hurting. Doc said cough not on chest but she might have a urine infection. Haven't had any sleep for two nights!

Yesterday we spent most of the day in bed watching tv lol.

Today we have got up and I have ordered my winter tyres (think snow is on its way), we have wrapped and packaged the pressies I need to take to the PO next week.

Washing is now hanging on the radiators to dry and recycling is out.

I tried to talk to OH's mum about his depression and it was complete was of time, she buried her head in the sand talking about different types of depression and his might not be clinical and then said...something else to worry about!!! !!!!!!, he is her son!
Spoke to the counsellor and she said she will try and give me an opportunity to talk about OH's emotional blackmail at next weeks session so feel that was a positive.

DD laid on sofa with her blanket bless.
