Hello Livvy, sorry ive not been around - had a hectic 2 weeks and just calming down now!
Oh dear to the nosey bag at work, spreading your news about. Has anything else been mentioned since?
Glad the counselling went ok. Will the next one be on Monday?
All the Christmas activities youve got booked sound so lovely, loving the sound of the cruise!
Have a lovely weekend anyway xxMummytogirls x0 -
Oh poor DD, hope she picks up soon, I do hate it when their ill it's just not fair.
I am very jealous of the Xmas cruise! It sounds fab
Grrr to OH mum, no wonder he the way he is because it sounds like she doesn't confront him over his behaviour so he doesn't have to confront it himself, if she doesn't pipe up nothing changes and everything remains the same. Well done livvy for dealing with it, it can't be easy.
My OH is a handful as well, will pm u some details of his antics over the next week but I confide in mil and she see's my point of view which makes it easier. She also tells him straight which I love!!
Your doing great LL

Hi,
DD seems a bit better today and we got a lot more sleep last night, although she has a really runny nose now but at least the tummy pains have gone and the cold is coming out.
Hi Mummy, the next counselling session is next Thursday...its the same night as my works Christmas do. OH is meant to be looking after DD but I have got DM on standby just in case things go Pete Tong at the session.
Hi Yellow, exactly! You hit the nail on the head with his DM. He is the way he is because she doesn't talk to him and get him told. We wouldn't be in this mess now if a year ago she told him to stop feeling sorry for himself and sort it out with his family. I confided in her when he told me he wasn't happy last year and she listened to him but said she didn't want to say anything to him as he will only do what he wants. The counsellor is the only person that has actually told him like it is. Yeah do pm me, we can probably help each other out with our OH's behaviours.
I have a splitting head ache and I have had it for 2 days, I wanted to put deccies up last night but really couldn't be bothered. OH is coming round after work to help as the Chrimbo tree box is that heavy I can't carry it on my own. Plus I think its only fair he is here to take part in Christmas things.
Well yesterday OH came round and he had bought me the perfume I really like, its the new Dior one. He got upset when he gave it to me, but like the counsellor said...he has a lot of ground to make up. It takes more than one gift to make up for the year I have had.
My winter tyres have been despatched so hopefully I will be able to pop to Kwikfit on my lunch next week to have them put on.
I have hardly eaten any of the food I bought last week as not felt too great, think things are getting on top of me. Hope there isnt too much that has gone off.
Having a nightmare with DD and the advent calendar, she wants to open all the doors and eat all the chocs NOW!

Hello Livvy, Im glad you got more sleep with DD, poor little thing.
Did you put up your decs today then? Weve not had time so I reckon it will be next weekend now.
Haha to DD wanting to eat all the chocs now!! We have one we can se each year with little drawers so I only put a day in at a time. Not had a problem so far haha!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well this is the first time I have had 2 mins to sit down and collect myself for over a week. DD has been poorly and I have been backwards and forwards to docs and nursery, on top of having little sleep, counselling, Christmas events and work.
Hi Mummy, sorry I haven't been around for a while, hope you are all OK. All my decs are up and my Christmas shopping finished...all except OH.
I have sat this morning and worked out all my money on my spreadsheet because I panic if I don't have everything written down and accounted for.
My car ended up costing me an arm and a leg for the winter tyres, the correct tyres arrived but I went to get them put on and they said they were a different size to the ones on my car...both OH and I had checked and we were absolutely sure they were the right ones. Anyway a long story short I have had to send them back and get them from BMW...tyres and wheels (wasting £40 on postage). My car looks awful because it doesn't have the alloy wheels on anymore so had to buy a set of cheap rims off ebay, they will do until March.
Went shopping yesterday and finished off Christmas pressies so this is all complete, apart from £100 which I need to spend on OH.
We are having Christmas lunch at home this year so I have ordered some food from Mr T to get delivered 21st (pay day). I will go to Aldi for the vedge and all the trimmings.
Money is really tight now, I had to borrow £100 out of my holiday savings for my tyres. I think I have about £25 left until pay day aaargh. Mind you Christmas night out is over and only lunch to pay for tomorrow (about a tennar).
Counselling is going OK, OH still thinks he is getting picked on.
Well thats it from me as I need to get ready and go and see my friend who is having a bad time at the moment...this year has been shocking for everyone, please let 2012 be our year.

I think LL there will be a lot of people glad to see the back of 2011. Really hope you have a better 2012 and a lovely xmas this year too despite everything. Really need your daughter to get back to full health too so you can get more sleep and not be worrying about her. Hope counselling goes wellAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Lol to OH playing the victim...if he thinks he is being picked on then the onus is on him to come back with an assertive way of disproving things otherwise its time to man up and stand up and say my name is Mr Livvyloo and I've made mistakes and I want to own them mistakes learn from them and move on!!! Not rocket science Mr LivvyLoo! I'm sure there is 2 sides to the story and you've both made mistakes but I can't believe he is playing the victim at this stage...
Hope DD is better soon, take care.0 -
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your support.
DD is much better but still has a niggly cough, not waking us up as much now though.
The problem with OH is he can not see he is wrong, even when the counsellor told him. He said he doesn't care what she says he felt pushed away when DD was born and thats what caused the problems and the reason he did what he did was due to his depression. He said he doesn't think he needs to go to counselling now as he knows he wants me back so I have got the issues and should go on my own!
Money is still not looking great but it isn't looking too bad either. I wrote all my Christmas cards last night and went to see DD in her carol service...she didn't sing a thing. Infact I had to stand there with her and the kids as she was crying bless.
I have made a list of things I need to do as feel so disorganised.
