Can I install programs from an SD card with this? I've tried but haven't got anywhere.
Any help much appreciated.0 -

the navigation software still annoys me and i'm having problems getting hold of tomtom software. if anyone can pm me some guidance it would be much appreciated (if that's allowed).
1gb sd cards also work fine.
Do you just put it in the slot and off you go? Or is it a bit more complicated for a duffer like me. BTW, I have a Netgear Wireless Netwok at home, so would I be able to use it and connect through that?
Thanks0 -

I can not get the GPS receiver to give more than 3 bars of reception on mine, which is not enough. Does it actually run from the internal battery or does it have to be powered externally?0

Should work OK from either, assuming the battery is properley charged to start with.0 -

Hi I've just got home with my navman and installed my genuine tomtom 5 on it. Could some one tell me which receiver to set the aerial to??? As I have only ever used the tomtom wired receiver before .
Thanks

Smart ST uses Com 8 and 9600 settings. I'm not sure if the setting needs to be hardware or software compatible though.0
