Hi guys,Barclays paid out today on hubbys loan (i may have mentioned this several times on this thread lol) the claim was put in last year in june,they have taken the refund off my hubbys Barclaycard,at our request,as we were paying a reduced payment on this for 18 months,and wanted shot of it,the card is now closed and that has been done today.
FSA and FOS did respond to my emails about fast tracking with ceo,i got the result i wanted and that is all i can say.
Hope Barclays are on the ball now,and you all get refunds by the deadline.
They send out cheques with the letters ( i got this from someone at barclays) so hopefully there should be cheques "bouncing" around at rm shortly.

Bank - Barclarycard
Date of original claim: 1st November 2010
Response: 2 letters - one acknowledgement and 1 JR letter. Referred to FOS in June and have heard nothing else.
Current Position: Rang in July 2011 and basically re-buffed - was told it was " in the system". Will wait it out, be it 8 weeks or 16.......0 -

Barclayloan
Sent complaint 3rd May 2011.
Acknowledgement letter received mid July
End of July received letter saying they would respond by 3rd October
Letter received 17th September with estimated redress of £7148, advising someone will contact within 40 working days to confirm the redress. Barclays also advised that 8% interest has been added up to the end of that 40 working day period. I would therefore conclude that means they are expecting to make the payment within the 40 days.
Against other claims this has been relatively speedy but I have been on their case.0 -
Bank: Barclays (Littlewoods Credit Card)
Date claim started: May 2011
Current position: Claim upheld August 2011, advised refund would be in my bank account by 30 Sept. Rec'd a letter today dated 28 Sept confirming refund has been paid into my account. Checked bank account, NADA, ZILTCH, EMPTY :mad::mad::mad:
Will be on the phone first thing tomorrow morning if that money is not in my account on Friday 30th Sept:j:j:j MY PPI JOURNEY :j:j:j
NATWEST BANK £12,426.51, BARCLAYCARD £4,161.76, MBNA £3,034.23, TESCO £458.020 -

Is it me or has it all gone quiet from Barclays? My 40 days isn't up for a couple of weeks but I've not seen many posts about payouts from Barclay loans for a while. Has anyone out there had any Barclayloan payouts recently?0 -
Nope, my 40 days were up last Friday, we have been calling Barclays every day and are told every time to now contact the FOS. So frustrating :mad:0

I am now up to 52 days. Don't really want to get FOS involved because Barcalys could then take even longer. I don't know why the people on Customer Relations have no clue what is happening and why they have to email the refund teams rather than speak to them0 -
