    Evening all,

DD and I have pottered all day, that's about all I can say, LOL.

We've taken the Christmas deco's down (yes, I know, yesterday I said that they were staying till the 6th, but hey .. girl's prerogative and all that!!) ... however, they're not yet packed away. Tree is outside, and cards have gone to be recycled though :)

Done 6 loads of washing, so can someone please explain where it comes from? I thought that once DD was out of nappies, the washing got less  . Erm, nope. It's a complete phallacy that cloth nappies cause excessive washing!

Taught DD how to throw fir cones in to the fire, yes ... that took hours, LOL ... but hey, good for her co-ordination, or just a laugh, take it either way!

Had a pootle up the library, also went and got the washing up liquid refilled.

Re-educated DD in the delights of macaroni cheese, for some bizarre reason (oh ok, nursery yukkiness I suspect) she went off it last yr, but today we had it, and she wolfed it down, hurrah!

Honestly? It's ok, but my failing eyes find it difficult to see it properly cos it's black and white. But hey, perhaps I should just go and find some wine instead!

B - herbal tea, made proper, cos I'd run out of t-bags, so fresh (frozen) ginger, lemon juice and honey :)
L - HM Country Veg Soup with HM bread
D - Macaroni cheese with left over bacon and yoghurt for "afters"

  • Hiya!

Had a great day...knackered but a great day!

Bought a Pukka Project book-any ideas which would be the best way to sort it:confused: It has 4 compartments.

WM is on ATM, DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned.

  • Well I have been rushed off my feet today - went to sainsburys this morning and tried to do a month shop of meat in the reduced section + I needed loads of stuff like 17 kg of dog food, should last months though. Spent £165+ but hopeful I won't have to go to a supermarket again for weeks. I have ordered my first veg box from Riverford and if all else fails I will go to lidl or Aldi for bits like milk although I did get milk and bread for the freezer today.

I will start my slimming world diet when I go back to class on Thursday but it was a relief to start to eat more normally today.

I defrosted my freezer and threw out some stuff that has been there for years, I got rid of part eaten stollen and stuff and put to the back of the larder the remaining chocs and unopened cake incase I need it for visitors in the near future - else it will be chucked as well.

I am going to keep a month record of all my spending in my new desk diary which is designed to help DH know where he is meant to be on any day for work and so that I can help him but may as well stick the spending in there too.

Love to all that need it, Well Done DLB you have made it through another day.

The ironing is now done so that's the last job of the day and I am heading off to bed as I have to be up at 6.30 tomorrow, seeing as I have been sleeping in every day over the holiday I am worried that I won't get up on time. So I'm hoping that an early night might help a little.

Well done on the non-smoking dlb and Tru.

    Hi everyone,

Just waiting for DD to ring to say she's home safely from Prague. She rang from Prague airport and I know that the flight has landed, just wanto know she's home safely. Am i an overanxious mum or what?:o

Not a lot of time on here at the moment what with w*r*, college assignments and Moggins Flylady challenge but I'm trying to keep up with the thread every day.

I wanted to have an early night tonight, so I had a nice relaxing bath, read for an hour, then tried to go to sleep. *Just* about to fall asleep when my upstairs neighbour starts doing god only knows what - running around playing the tuba is what it sounds like. Of course, all the funny noises made me paranoid about burglars, so I lay in bed rigid with tension/fear for an hour. Now I'm wide awake with a face like a corned beef hash.

Have LOADS to do tomorrow (going back up to Taunton on Thursday, so we can go to Bristol early on Friday to get wardrobes). Then OH's family will be coming down on Saturday, so I won't have any time other than tomorrow. Sigh.
