  • Hello all,
when I finally dragged my weary bum out of bed - guess what happened! My trousers won't do up - so I am walking around with them undone - who's gonna see, hey! So I'm with all of those who've put on a little (!! I wish) weight over Christmas and once the choccies are all gone(!) am sorting myself out - loads to lose!

Have painted (!!!) half a bedroom this morning - just recoated any bumps and knocks. Tried really hard to be OS and mixed up a colour for the other DDs bedroom - she wanted lilac - but its a lovely purple colour (DD not impressed - screamed and cried (12 going on 18 or 3 whichever way you want to look at it!) and insists she wants lilac not this colour. I can't win - but needless to say I ain't gonna bother painting anymore today!

Back to work tomorrow - one of those wonderful teacher training days!(not high up on my list of good things to do!) Then kids are back on Thursday - two days of clean uniforms! Hardly seems worth it - could do with another week off!

Hope everyones okay. See you all soon BB xxxx

Afternoon everyone, and thanks for all your support on the stop smoking front, almost 24 hours now since i last had one!! Iv never gone this long before without one.
I have been coughing like mad all day and have felt quite dizzy, but not acctually wanted one.

Iv been keeping myself busy to stop myself thinking about it, hoovered upstairs, done 3 loads of washing, prepared tea, sorted out some stuff for ebay, not got round to putting it on yet though.

Also phone up and canceled sky, they had given me full package last time i phoned to cancel for £18 a month, and that is due to end on jan 30th, so phoned and told em unless they could keep it at £18 a month to cancel it.
So i am sky free as off jan 30th lol, and im not bothered, kids will miss the footy but its £18 a month more to throw at the debts.
I am so going to make the most of every penny this year.

    Hope you are all good
    Donna

Happy Birthday Ice, have a great day.

I've not long got back from work, so haven't had a chance to read everyone's posts properly, so will go back through them all later on when I am having my 15 minute breaks from FLady.

I need to put the WM on, and especially the BM or else there won't be any bread for tomorrow's lunches. Has anyone ever tried to make a pannetone in the Panasonic BM? At least I think I remember seeing a recipe for it in the Panasonic booklet, but I can't remember where I've left the book! :o Aagh, I need to do FLady so badly.

Right, I must go now, or else I'll just be sat on my backside in front of the PC until bedtime (it has been known) so first step is to fill up the kitchen sink and wash the breakfast and lunch dishes.

Have a good afternoon, and chat later.
