HAPPY BIRTHDAY ICEICEBABY!
GOOD LUCK AT WEIGHT WATCHERS AMIE! - hope its not too much of a shock for you!;)
At work we have a 'club' we call the fat b******s club!I'm a fully paid up member at the moment!;) but hopefully not for long!
Good luck all you fellow 'fatties' as Aussielass so nicely put it!:D :rotfl:
and well done dlb ! keep up the good work!:TDo what you love :happyhear0 -
It's been a really frustrating day today! Not feeling so good again. Sinuses blocked and painful, thought that was behind me
Also the energy I thought I had, is used up way too quickly and I feel exhausted! If I was a horse they'd probably shoot me!
Also is everyone else having problems with the site? It seems to keep telling me there is a temporary problem with the forums, and pages are taking forever to refresh, also the thanks button takes up to 30 seconds to register for each person? I also lost my first post which was infintely better than this one:D But my brain is so addled I can't remember it:o
So before I forget, WELL DONE dlb , you really are coming through the worst part!! After a couple of days the physical addiction to the nicotine is largely past, but I won't kid you, the addiction in your brain is the hardest to get through. Even now, 10 months on, my brain sometimes tells me I want to smoke, but I'm not going through that again!! And at least when I was coughing with this cold/flu people couldn't keep saying " it's the fags!" Life really is easier once you've stopped. Keeping everything crossed for you and sending positive vibes your way!!:D
Must start some dinner now, even if I don't feel like eating, I'm guessing DH and the boys will want to:rotfl: :rotfl:
Hope you have good evenings!
CMxx
edited to say it took about 4 minutes for this post to submit, never known the site soooo slooow! You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Evening everyone
Back at work today (although I really went back last week - the day after Boxing Day - not fair).
Have just checked bank balance (refused to do it over Christmas and New Year as I wanted one week of the year where I didn't feel sick every morning IYKWIM) anyway, although it's not good - it's much better than we thought :j We will eat this month :j
Tea tonight is tacos, and I might have a rum and coke (well it needs using up). My diet starts on Monday with a vengeance (too much food in the house to start now) - my plan is this.......... quick jog in the morning, grilled tomatoes on a slice of wholemeal toast (unbuttered) for brekkie, HM veggie soup and rice cakes for lunch, and chicken and cous cous and roasted veg for dinner - sounds really exciting doesn't it
Anyway better dash
Keep up the good work DLB - take a look at my signature to see how much I've saved by not smoking (and believe me I was a hardened smoker 20-30 a day  )
(((((hugs))))))Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Helloooooooooo everyone
I'm just smoking my last cig. Again:rolleyes:
I made myself ignore the shop today, I walked straight past it.
I left the house today for the first time since 23rd December, and that was only because I had to go work  The boss did the wages last week, he didn't put mine in the bank because he knows I like to use it for shopping, that way all of Mr tru's wages stay in the bank for DDs etc. and we're never caught short if there's an emergency (actually there's never an emergency, but I guarantee we'll have one if I change my money system lol). I told the boss I'd pick it up but I haven't so I'll have 2 weeks wages this week :T Tons of food in the freezer so I'll only have to buy milk, fruit and veg for a while :T I've never felt this rich after Christmas :rotfl:
I've taken the decs down and given the lounge a good clean. Hoovering done, ironing done, animals cleaned out, WM has just finished and the DW will go on in a mo. I'm knackered :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
Hi all,
Having real problems with the site today so I will keep this short. Haven't said any "thanks" today as that causes big problems for some reason.
DD is still poorly. She has only had a few spoonsful of soup but at least she is drinking fluids so I won't worry just yet.
DS has been a big help. He has helped me to take all the decs down but has also been fetching and carrying for his little sister.
First meal in SC was delicious. Made a sort of spanish chicken dish and the chicken was soooo tender. Also did some washing and lots of ironing.
Like some of you, I'm also back to behaving myself. I will have a diabetic check-up at some point this month and I have put some weight on and have been eating some stuff that I know I shouldn't. So today was the first day of being a VERY good girl. salad, lots of veg, brown rice, fruit and lots of water have been the order of the day.
(((( hugs )))) to all who need or want one. x"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

I've just tried to find your other posts by clicking on your name, but it won't let me, keeps saying that I don't have access and am I trying to edit your posts? (I'm not - honest lol)Bulletproof0 -
Roz - DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ICE
Well, today has gone well, although i am tierd (not used to getting up early, and its only been just over a week!!!) Im doing well with not stuffing my face with chocolate, had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a bowl of porridge (half milk/water, no sugar) for lunch, and just had bubble and squeak (dried fried)with left over duck, stuffing and gravy, so hopefully a good start. Im not hungry, but because im trying to cut back, i feel like i want to be eating and im almost obsessing about it!!!!
Think im going to have a nice bath now, before Holby and 'just the two of us' tonight - yes, i am that sucker for reality tv!!!!
Have a lovely evening everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
