    Morning everyone!

I'm up a bit earlier today! Have the hot water on for a nice, relaxing and pampering bath and have been taking down the decs already :) Yay me!

Feel as though I have quite a bit of energy today, will pace not push as my Dad keeps telling me... we were meant to go to my Nans yesterday for lunch but my knees have been so bad that I wouldn't've been able to stand the hour drive each way... ugh! But had a nice relaxing day anyway.

Soooo today is decs, hoover and tip... post on Freecycle about wanting a bread machine and perhaps write a couple of letters to make a dent in my mail pile (I'm a snail mail penpaller... pm me if you are interested in joining in!). Then I'll have a nap and chill this afternoon by watching a DVD and making some jewellery.

Have a soup in the sc... tis veggie soup (potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and lots of frozen mixed veg), have had it on low overnight so it just has a couple of hours left (put it on at midnight and have just checked it) so I can have some for lunch, can't wait!

I'm already thinking about tomorrow and have my trusty pink postits (I'm a pink girlie! But far from stupid!) to make my list... so far I have bugging supply agencies, banking and buying pudding rice so that I can try out the coconut rice pudding and checking out what our Julain Graves has, as there is 50% off everything in ours at the moment!

    Happy New Year Everyone!! :T

am back at work now, after 5 days in Preston (with sister, sister's cat, aged parents and even more aged grandmothers) and 4 days in Gloucestshire (with BF, BFs mum, BFs best friend from university and his two DDs). Had a nice time, but am pleased to be back home. I never sleep well in strange beds, so last night was the first proper sleep i've had in 10 days. Bliss.

Am just finishing a sainsburys shop to restock my cupboards, and starting to research studio flats to rent in south east London. After 12 years of flatsharing, i've had enough:D

It was hot as hell today. :p We got all the town stuff, well I thought we did until DH said he forgot a few things and I will have to go in again on Thursday to get them. Had to get the later ferry home tonight as the one we had booked was having engine trouble which made it a long day.

Plans for tomorrow - work on the house. :D It has to be all done and us moved in 16 days. Well might go and have a surf and chill out before having a shower. Have a lovely day everyone. Byeeeeeeeeee

Im joining you in the healthy eating - ive put on over half a stone in 2 weeks (too much food, chocolate, drink and sitting around doing nothing!!!) and although being tall i carry it off ok, i can feel it, so really need to do something, and the new year is a perfect time to start!!!!
We will all have to give each other encouragement to make sure we keep to it!!!!!

    Good Morning All

Didnt get up as early as planned as had terrible night due to OH snoring as he has a cold. Best laid plans and all that, so far have cleaned kitchen, 1 load of washing done & another in the machine. Had a quick tidy up downstairs. Most of decorations taken down and just waiting to be loaded carefully under the stairs but oh will do that.

In a minute need to check the FL thread see what my jobs are for today but they will have to be done later as need to spend at least 2 hours here in my office doing essential paperwork. Also must remember to go out and get DD's school bus ticket. She will be doing her homework this afternoon and needs to tidy her bedroom, also needs to wear her new brace all day today but she is struggling on this one. If she does well am taking both children ice skating tomorrow.

Ageandjo - know what you mean, my stomach looks and feels like a bit fat football, I do say that the diet starts today but I dont actually 'diet' as such, just cut out the sweets, coke & white bread and try and eat less carbs especially at lunch time as they do make me feel sluggish. Once children go back to school plan to walk for 1/2 min each day hopefully at lunchtime as do have a big slump in the afternoons.

Need to go an check FL now, have a great day.

Oh and by the way, we too have decided to go back to Florida this time next year. Already have an account set up so will go and look at some brochures this wee. Cant wait

Morning   (and yes it really is:D )

Easing myself gently back into normality today with a couple of hours work to do then a trip to town for a bit of mystery shopping (feel a bit mean on their first day back:o )

Back to touring the country one end to the next on Monday so this week is a time to get the house sorted again and catch up with humongus pile of ironing that would suggest I live in a commune with 25 people not by my lonesome!!

Didnt get to bed till 2am last night despite all those good intentions - had to do a late night visit to a friend of mine whos son had just turned up on her doorstep having being kicked out by his live in girlfriend. My friend was really upset as the girlfriend is blaming it all on her for something she said on New Years Eve - it wasnt the most subtle thing to say I have to admit  but I think theres a lot more to the split than this.

Anyway best get a boogie on i guess, food today will be ham mash and beans left over from last night - very scrummy and very cheap:D I have also piled the weight on this christmas so I am determined this year I will be making the most of the facilities in the hotels I stay in to shift some of the flab and gettting back to some kind of normal eating should help too:o

Well done DIB - its nearly 22 hours now:T :T

    Have a great day all

[STRIKE]Got a friend coming for coffee with her DS's today - no doubt they'll help consume the huge choocy mountain we've still got left....I've put the longest date stuff away but still have 2 large tins of sweets open plus assorted tubes and tubs and selection boxes.[/STRIKE]

    Plans for today then..

Dust of the BM for some rolls for lunch boxes.
Hun[STRIKE]t out something suitable in the freezer for dinner.[/STRIKE]
Make some soup for lunch boxes
Baking of some sort - anything that includes chocolate me thinks!
    [STRIKE]Sorting wardrobes
    Sorting school bags
    Put washing away.[/STRIKE]

Ironing will wait until Friday when everyones back at school and the floors will get a good going over then too.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

I'm doing well - Friend is popping in for lunch instead of coffee - she's bringing lunch with her - would be rude to say no!! ;)

Baking has been put off until later as I've loads of eggs to use up so muffins, cookies and a quiche will get popped in the oven at tea time. Veg is just about to go in for a soup for lunch boxes and then I can enjoy the afternoon!
