    Hi

I would love to join in this challenge. This is new to me and £1007 sounds a lot!!. So bronze is my aim. I'm off to find things to ebay now!

Ps if it starts on 7th Jan, can i put things on ebay today?
Put them on for 5 day listing or more and your sale will def count
    welcome
  • I would love to join in with this - not going to be able to start until, I reckon, mid January though.

Am really tempted to aim for Gold but not sure if I will get to that so going to go for Silver instead.
  • would love to join as well - could i use my giving up smoking money if i promise to give up on the 7th..?? it will give me the push i need and i would defo go for gold for the good of my health and my bank balalnce :)

I'm in, and going for Gold! This would mean that I come out of college this year debt free if I achieve this and all money made over the summer would be for uni! I don't have much to ebay, however I have been considering my potential part time jobs and I recon I can do it!

I'm going for bronze - 7th July and I could have paid off a massive chunk of my debt with my normal repayments and my olympic challenge. I'm going to really make an effort to smash it!! Woo hoo! Does cashback from your credit cards count?? :j
  • I must have misread so started early will end on 1st july.

That's a hard question to answer really. If you are spending money on this card (have you switched from another one specifically for this challenge)simply to get the cashback then I suppose yes. But if it is something you would normally do then no.
    What do others think?

I don't think it should count as someone may then say "if i switch to a card with a lower APR can it count the money i would have saved in interest". It could be complicated very easily.

But I'm happy to go with the majority
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO
