    It's over on the comping board (not started by me). We're trying to win back the cost of our internet access through the year :D

    Hi all,

    I'd like to take part in the bronze challange please. The only ways I know are, car-boot and quidco. I've got some stuff to sell on ebay but as I've never used it before I'd be grateful for any tips. I'll also sign up to pigsback and will look at matched betting. Couple of questions though;

    1) how much effort (time wise) does matched betting take. Are we talking several hours a day or a couple of hours a week?
    2) How safe is ebay? I've heard some horror stories.

    Thanks and Good Luck to everyone taking part.

    Regards,
    FatJock

    It depends how much money you want to make. You could probably make £50 to £100 a week for a couple of hours a week, or £250 a week for several hours a day. Basically you can do as much or as little as you want - it's all free money :)

    I've always found ebay v. safe (touch wood). Only bad experience I've had was when I bought a Louis Vuitton bag on ebay to sell on ebay at profit but ebay removed it because it was a fake - this was in October and ebay still haven't replied to my messages. I've contacted the seller I bought it from and she too is emailing ebay with no response.

    Does overtime/extra hours at current job count? If so, I can go for Silver :)

    But if not, gonna have to be Bronze - I hate to lose :rotfl:

    Good luck all :beers:
    Yes as long as you are doing overtime specifically for the challenge
    Good luck

    I'm new to all of this, have signed up for mystery shopping, looked at matched betting.....think that it might be more suited to him inside the doors:) Have sold on e-bay before, so would like to try the bronze please, is there anything that I need to do apart from post here?
    Nopejust try and raise as much money as you can which is over and above your normal income, put your target and current total in your sig.
    Good luck

    Would love to give this a go. Read up on how you were all doing last time, but felt I'd left it too late to join. Bronze would be great!
