    Sign me up please annie!

I am going for gold, and will all go towards paying off my horrible debts.

As part of this challenge I am going to reclaim my bank charges and will give matched betting a go. I have also just started a new part time job for extra money and joined AQA last month.

I would like to recommend this excellent mystery shopping forum, which is helpful and has a very very long list of mystery shopping companies:

    http://mshopper.5.forumer.com/

You have to join before you can see the whole forum, and once the moderator accepts you, you will be able to see all the threads, it is very helpful.

This is a good focus group website:

    http://www.focus4people.com/index.asp

Mostly in london, but if you are close enough to go there then you could earn some serious money. I have only matched their requirements once and wasn't accepted so I don't know yet if the focus groups are any good but it was recommended to me by someone who has done one and said it was very good and good money.

Another tip is to join swapit shop and collect free points, then get vouchers or goods for these free points then sell them on ebay. You can get the points from this thread:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=202659&highlight=swapit

I will give more tips later, back to work...

Please can I join? I will have a go at gold - really need to do that to reach my £10k off my debts this year target.

Will try matched betting, eBay, quidco and getting as much extra work as I can.

I'd like to join in going for Bronze

I'm already mystery shopping with 1 company and have just applied to join another too.

Then I'm going to get much better with PTC and survey sites as I haven't done them recently and when I get rewards I'm actually going to put the cheque into my savings account rather than loosing the money in my current account which I did when I got them before.

SIL bought us a piggy bank for Christmas so I'm going to put money I 'find' in the street etc in that and then open it just before the challenge ends and see what's in there - won't be mega bucks but every little helps ;)

Then my parents gave me a box of books for amazon over Christmas so will be listing them this weekend.

And hopefully I'll get lots more ideas and tips on here too :j

    Good luck everyone :T

I can't believe this thread is less than 24hrs old and we have 38 members already.
Checkout thread starter as I have updated it with tips from members.

I have joined a couple of new mystery shopping companies, listed a phone on ebay which I got for virtually nothing via a tip from the codes and vouchers thread, sent off for some (well lots actually - got bottles using coupons) free cinema tickets via a tip from this site which is sadly over now - keep eyes open on freebies thread and coupons/voucher threads for other good offers.
I am trying to get an ironing/cleaning job too but must wait till after 11th as I have 3 assignments due in at UNI then and I'm only on the first one:eek:
Anyway any other tips etc post here and I will update thread starter

    My tips:

join online survey groups, and get paid either in vouchers or cash. If you join lightspeed via pigsback, you get 200 piggy points as well! I joined lots and have discovered that the best ones for me are:

    Lightspeed - join via pigsback
    https://www.ciao.co.uk
    https://www.valuedopinions.co.uk
    https://www.yougov.co.uk

There are many, many more out there. Don't expect to make money instantly, and you do find that you get screaned out of the surveys quite a lot, especially if you are in one of the 'common' categories (like me - a 30 something female!:rotfl: ) However since starting in August I have had £30 of vouchers, and have about £30 in cash due to me.

    So it all adds up!
