hi:)
i have just opened a classic account to take advantage of the 8% reg saver and also the save the change....
just been on the phone to lloyds and opened an online saver. you can open the account with any amount over a £1 but dont earn interest on balances under £250.
for the 2 months i plan on "saving the change" im not really worried about the lack of interest as i will be getting back a lovely £100 from lloydstsb:D
once the bonus promo is finished, i wont be using my debit card again:)
hope this helps someone....

You can put it into someone else's account too..... I've just registered to put it into the savings account OH has with them, since it's still my money, does that still count for this challenge?DFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

My cleaner didn't turn up today as expected thereby saving me £25. Does this count for the challenge if I put the cash straight in the pot?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. hi poppy:)
yes i think you can nominate the money to go into someone elses savings account, but if you want it paid into YOUR account then you have to have a savings account with them, hope this helps,

For everyone
It's quite a responsibility saying yay/nay to people's questions about whether something counts or not. I'm a bit on the generous side and if someone really disagree's with a decision you must say then we can discuss it. Jet feel free to jump in and disagree with me as well.
