Had a quiet week because decorated 2 rooms. I just can't focus when in chaos but a friend has downsized from a large 4 bedroom to a small 2 bed terrace. Upshot being that she wants me to go sifting through it all and take what I want as she was taking it all to the tip-soon put a stop to that:eek: What doesn't go for ebay I will freecycle and bless her she is cool with that so some profit hopefully and I will use some to take her to the fiver a head chinese buffet. Win win I hope although busy week at work so probably wont get time to list this week :undecided . I have emptied the change jar where daughter collects all those coins found in the street and odd pence from purse and it all adds up to 14.70 so new total 414.70. Dont know how long it will stay there as desperately trying to pay car insurance in lump sum rather than monthly but at least its there for now-car mot april-car tax may:mad: Bad planning me thinks
Heres wishing everyone a fruitful week
olympic challenge week 6 = $414.70:j

It does look pretty grim for some but it may depend on how much they had in bf at the time...0 -
I've just read through yesterday's betting horror story as well. To add to what Mizmir said about the overround and non-players, what none of them realised was that the non-players being voided would therefore not give them guaranteed profits. Unfortunately, rather than betting just once, the people involved did it over and over again, thereby increasing their losses, rather than profits as they thought. There are several people who may have lost £5K plus and one with nearly £12K. Fingers crossed things work out ok for them
It should be stressed to everyone considering joining in that what those MSErs were doing was NOT matched betting!
*Actually....I'm just re-iterating what Mizmir has already said!*0 -
Oh dear - poor them.
I've had an email - if anyone rememebrs, I'm having a SAab saga, whereby a wind deflector was bought, paid for and sent off in adequate packaging, but was damaged and so refused by buyer. It's now been sent back to me (buyer not happy as she didn't know this was going to happen) and I have just had an email about this. I intend to claim comp from parcelforce, but they have already said it wasn't well packaged (it was and I checked at the PO).
The buyer has said to keep her informed, but it will cost me postage again (£15) and the bag is slightly scuffed now as well. Grrr.
What would you do - she's not made it clear what she wants, I think she's waiting for me to make the first move but I'm concerned, as always about negative feedback.

sea could you perhaps send some clear photos of the damage to the bag and perhaps go halves on the postage with the buyer and claim off the post office
tricky situation have you tried asking on the ebay board they are a friendly bunch and might help
