If you go for it, i would love to know what you end up with. The Venetian for that price would be fantastic/unbelievable.
I have to add I have never used it because of the uncertainty surrounding it although I think others on here have and there are many forums about explaining exactly how to get the best from it.0 -
To be honest I haven't got a clue what to do.I'm assuming I name a price and put in a bid.If I'm successful I get it for that price.
However I've been looking into it and I can't seem to register from the UK:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0 -

I dont know either, I guess its a case of the unknown but the link above could be helpful0 -
from post number #12 on this threadPriceline is a great site click 'name your own price' to get stared. It is a different company to hotwire, but the method is the same.
If you use these sites in tandem with a site like https://www.betterbidding.com you can get a good idea on what hotel you'll likely get and the price you should be bidding on.
e.g. 5* in Las Vegas turns out to be the Venetian on the Strip. A room there can be won on Priceline for as little as $99 a night!

you don,t know for sure until your bid gets accepted, but there aren't many 5* hotels on or near the strip. Bellagio , Wynn, Venetian, and The Four Seasons ( inside mandalay bay).
betterbidding has a forum for questions specific to Vegas

I don't think that there are any 5* slightly off the strip...they're either on the Strip or a long way away...cannot think of any, anyway.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I'm waiting for a an offer for Siganture @ MGM - love that place.
I'm treating myself too - spending 2 nights at Skylofts (comped).
Second that on the Signature. In fact I'm posting this from there now, just got to love the "free" WiFi. I'd never use the MGM suites again if given the chance of paying roughly the same for the Signature. definitely up there with the Venetian as our favourite hotels0 -
