Can I just ask which photo ID's are acceptable

My daughter has a Validate card and a provisional drivers licence,Hub has an OAP bus pass and I have nothing. We all obviously have our passports.Would a photocopy be ok

don,t know if this subject has come up on this thread , but you should carry around Photo ID if you are under 60 and have any intentions of buying alcohol.

i got asked five times last year and i,m in my mid 30's !! ( and look it :rotfl: ) your passport will suffice but a photo drivers licsense is a better bet ,beacuse A) it is easier carry in your wallet/purse and B) you won,t be running around in a panic if you lose it.

This one is worth having, too...a VIP line pass + $1 off the service fee - Trets is better if there is no queue as it's more money off, but if you go early for the big shows that sell out early, this one is worth having with you as you'll not have to stand in the massive queue.

    http://www.lasvegas-nv.com/tix-4-tonight-coupon.htm

It expires in June, but they always put up a new one shortly after good for the next 6 months.

thanks for that link I had been looking for that as I used it a couple of months ago...well worth it to avoid the queues/lines

I am off to vegas next week and I can't wait. But can anybody help me with the following:
    1. Do you need pin numbers for credit cards in the US or is it all signature based? I need to use my credit card but don't know the pin number.
    1. I am flying with my travel - is it true that you have to buy all drinks on board?

    Thanks everybody.

When i was there it was done by signature and they also took copy of my passport. You need ID with you to pay with credit card.

my travel - yeah as far as you know you have to buy all drinks, excluding tea, coffee, and water.

    Personally I'd wait a while.

I'm booked to go in September.
I'm hanging on for another 2 months or so. It's usually best to book about 2 months prior to when you are going - that's when all the special offers come out!!

I'm waiting for a an offer for Siganture @ MGM - love that place.
I'm treating myself too - spending 2 nights at Skylofts (comped).

I take it I'd be better hanging on a while for the promo codes to come out for Oct/Nov
The best prices I've managed to get so far are
£398 for a week at IP
    £531 .........@ Tropicana
    £511........@Hooters
    £537........@Harrahs
    £662.........@Hilton
    £672.........@Luxor
    £715..........@Flamingo

    Are these good prices???
    Better off waiting ???

I'm honestly not sure if a photocopy of a passport would be OK - I know some people have used photocopies for things like checking in at the players clubs and things like that - but not sure about card transactions, I would tend to think not but could be wrong...I doubt that the bus pass would be accepted, but maybe (the rule of thumb is usually a government issued ID).

I would think that a Validate card might be OK if it's government issued or appears to be (and she could say that it is). It may vary from place to place too - some places may be more diligent asking for ID and others may not bother...some may take a photocopy and others might not.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Haha! I'm 37 and a now bit miffed that I never get ID'd in Vegas.

...but I suppose it had to happen sometime...it's all those teenagers calling me ma'am that should have been my first clue. :)
