it will be much later in the year....can i get a better deal nearer the time or not?
all help from seasoned las vegasers greatfully received;)
That is a very good rate!
As your trip is late this year, I'd suggest booking that rate, if you can, and keeping an eye out on fatwallet for promos nearer the time (ie 2 months before).
If you see a promo where the price is cheaper or the same but offer more like a room upgrade etc, cancel the original booking (which will be free of charge) and re-book the promo rate.0 -
slighty off topic but hopefully this open skies deal that breaks the monopoly at Heathrow will yield a new carrier offering a Direct flight to Las Vegas and lower prices. worth keeping tabs on this

Virgin could use a bit of competition on this route IMO.
thanks photome and hope you have a blast on your upcoming trip. this one's just for youBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
those fountains are LOVELY!! have you got more pictures of Vegas that you could upload somewhere? I have seen that you have posted others floating about...
oh and further to our earlier posting for trips to Vegas in October, I called some of the hotels directly this morning and they suggested calling back in July or August for more "reasonable" prices. Is that about right?0 -

Trets...another good photo! that is the view I always try and get when staying at the Alladdin. But when paying only $59 a night they are sometimes reluctant to offer the free upgrade to a resort room with that view for the $20 tip,, but has worked once0

We were in Vegas a few years ago with kids - 11, 15 and 17 and although the 17 year old told the guards that she was 18 they werent allowed in the pool area at all on their own. Bit of a shame as they had to spend a lot of time in the room watching HBO.0 -

We had the same problem with the Excalibur and Treasure Island. However, looking at things now it would seem that the hotels are becoming a little more family friendly!!0

yes. offers should start appearing for Sept and Oct then. getting the best rate is a bit like buying and selling on the stock market ect. you never really know when they have reached rock bottom and if you miss the lowest price the last few rooms will be put upto full price and more. get a feel at what is a average price by searching and getting quotes from as many site/ agents as possible and then you will know a good deal when see it for your choice of casino.
will PM you with photos onlineWe had the same problem with the Excalibur and Treasure Island. However, looking at things now it would seem that the hotels are becoming a little more family friendly!!
maybe but i cannot stress this enough " Vegas is not for familys anymore"Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
PandaPants wrote:Im looking for flights to Vegas for September but they are all pretty expensive with Virgin and BA. Who else flies there?
We are going in May and have booked with Maxjet. They were a bit expensive - £600 return each - but they are business class only which means access to the Business Lounge at both airports so we thought ... Why Not
