Looks good but I would imagine you would have to play a lot on the first day to qualify for that sort of reward.
It does say bonuses...include....
When I signed up last year there was something similar and I played a while went to see what I qualified for and guess what.....nothing0 -

It sounds like one of those arrangements where they give you $100 credit to play a particular machine ...which never/rarely pays out. One of the smaller places mid-strip does this also. (and don't confuse the above sign-up free play with the free play that a lot of places give with accommodation, which is near enough equivalant to solid cash in your hand)0 -
The Stratopshere new members deal is as follows:
on the day of sign-up earn 100 points for a Tshirt, 400 points for 2 buffets, 1200 points for 2 show tickets, 2000 points for $100 cash (you actually get all 4 things if you earn 2000 points)
You earn 1 point for each $1 played through a slot machine (more play required for video poker)...it's not based on how much you lose, but how much you play through the machine...so you may put a $20 in and run it through the machine many times (assuming you win and keep playing and win and keep playing, etc).
So you would effectively have to run $2000 through their machines to qualify for the $100 cash...that's not to say that you have to feed $2000 into a machine, just play that much through over the day.
This is a great site to find out about the various slot club promotions:
http://www.advantageplayer.com/lasvegas/index.html - check the left hand column for things like slot club sign up bonuses, multiple point promotions, etc.
It's free to join all the clubs...and sometimes the freebies for signing up at one casino within a group (MGM/Harrah's, etc) are better than signing up at another casino within the group...so pays to check...but really, really worth signing up and using your card as you can qualify for free rooms, free food and various other things - just for playing what you were going to play anyway.
Also - this is a great list of current and ongoing promotions across many, many properties and is updated weekly...we always print it out before we go and read it on the plane.

I think that's Casino Royale and I agree...waste of time, really...joining the club is fine (got some free drinks vouchers, after all!)...but we got so bored with our 'free play' that we couldn't wait for it to run out.
Would also caution against most of the '$40 slot play for $20!' sort of deals...usually on promotional machines that rarely pay out though you may win a naff gift that's not worth $20.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Im looking for flights to Vegas for September but they are all pretty expensive with Virgin and BA. Who else flies there?Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!
Vegas Junkie....

I think Virgin are the olny ones who fly Direct. I think KLM go there.....its no different changing in Amsterdam as it is BA changing Nowheresville, USA.illegitimi non carborundum0

BMI flies direct from Manchester...and I think that AirTours has flights direct from Manchester, Glasgow and somewhere else (have never used them and probably never would, but have heard some people have good luck with them).
Most airlines can get you there with a connection...try expedia.co.uk or travelocity.co.uk for a good overview (and if you find a flight you like check with the airline directly).
Personally, we prefer to fly direct as the savings is usually offset by the hassle and extra travel time...but I know that for some the savings is worth it.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
