Sorry ... just bumping this up to see if anyone can help :D

Can't really help directly as I haven't stayed in either (though if it were me, I would pick the larger room with less amenities as I know for certain I would not use most of the amenities - but that is just me).

Consider posting the question at lvtalk.com - direct link here:

There are some Venetian fans there who might be able to help.

Some info here for the Concierge suite.

In the last one someone did say that they didn't think that the extra space in the Rialto suite was well used and they would take the concierge suite instead.

    Hope it helps!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Hi ferf,

Thanks for that ... that's a big help.

Had a quick read of the posts but will have a good read & dig around on that forum after work :-)

    Cheers,

    Craig.

I notice on the LV Advisor shows link given above.....several of these shows have age restrictions.....I can understand the strip type shows but a lot of them are comedy/hypnotist shows.....does the restriction apply if you are taking a 16 year old with parents or is it just for those going in alone.

    Yes, it's at the Palms.

We'll be in Vegas at this time too, and we looked into getting tix when the VMAs were announced.

2 months ago, they were going for $3000 - $4000 each.

So we thought we'd give it a miss ;)

Me too - quite a few of us out there at the same time. Going on Sunday and SO excited even though I've been before! :rotfl:

I'm off to Turkey week on Sunday for 1 week and then 6 weeks after I get back we'll be off to Vegas.
Have a lovely holiday if I don't speak to you again before you go

I think it will usually apply even if with parents...in some cases they may allow it especially if she looks older than 16 and you don't point out her age. :)

If there are any specific shows you are considering maybe list them and then if others with kids have any experience with the particular shows they can advise?

We were thinking as we are staying at the Tropicana of seeing The Comedy Stop (21)
    Anthony Cools at Paris (21)
    Carrot top at Luxor (18)
Plus one of the Cirque shows which she'll be ok for and the Legends in Concert show....again she's ok for that one
She'll pass for 18 for Carrot top unless we are challenged but there is no way she's gonna pass for 21 to go to the other 2 shows....Another thought....if we go into a bar will she be able to join us if she only has a soft drink like you can in the UK
I can't belive there are so many restrictions in the US.
I mean u go to Benidorm and little kids can go and see the likes of Sticky Vicki which in my opinion is far far worse....I've not even seen her and I've been to Beni 6 times

I stayed for a week at the end of April/May. I had previously stayed there about 2 years ago. It's great, great location, I tipped $40 at checkin and got upgraded to a suite.
