    jealous jealous jealous!

can't wait to hear about it when you're back. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Looking to stay there as well, it has good reviews.
£400 seems a lot, when are you going?

We are planning to go on Monday 7th July 08 for four nights and the cheapest we have been quoted is $533, which is approx £265 from https://www.travelworm.com
And it's really, really early to book for next summer...July is typically a slow month in Vegas and there will likely be great deals out next spring...but if you want to book now book with the hotel so you can cancel if you find something better (which you probably will).

ferf is right . i,m getting 3 weeknights at PARIS for $89 p/n (£45 x 3= £135) in December on a promo posted on this thread . booking with travelworm you are then stuck with it if some better price comes along . book with the hotel direct then you know you can cancel when you see a good deal ect.

as ferf posted even just booking through the casinos own website ( https://www.harrahs.com/casinos/paris-las-vegas/hotel-casino/property-home.shtml) without a special offer you can get $518 inc taxes .( arrive 7th july checkout 11th).

http://www.vegashotelspecial.com/ is good site to mointer for paris deals as well as the usual promotion sites
am looking at gonig to Vegas next April. Defo got to be there on the 10th as it is my sisters wedding.

Also looking at tagging in a trip to New York afterwards, so spending about 4 nights vegas and 4 nights in New York.

Problem is i can't find a website to give me quotes on this multi centre holiday. anybody know any good websites to try?

http://www.sidestep.com/ is a good website for internal US flights.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
By 'nice' I mean somewhere comfortable and clean, but also with comfortable beds, def not under a 3 star, prob 4 star. ( If it is relevant I have membership of Loew's and Starwood PG program).

I am a young fortyish, but certainly not into night clubbing (OH is 39 but the same), I want to take my mother (in a separate room) as a birthday present, she has always wanted to go, she is in her early 70's (an is young for it).

Will it be a lot more to stay on strip, I really do not know how much to expect. (If it is only 2,000 miles for M&M I'll have enough for two of us that way by then for air fare).

Any idea on who much I would be looking at for a week for the hotels, I am quite happy to book it all separately.

All hotels in Vegas are comfortable and clean, the clubbing thing doesnt really come into it either as the hotels are so big...MGM over 5000 rooms.

I always aim to get a strip hotel for between $60 and $100 for a week night and maybe double that for a fri and sat.

I know that doesnt help with your hotel choice, but with the parameters you have set, it still leaves you with just about every hotel to choose from.

I think you should have a look at www.cheapovegas.com (very good for any info about all the hotels) and www.tripadvisor.com then you could get a shortlist of hotels you fancy and there is bound to be someone on here who will have satyed at them to help you narrow ir down and get a good price.

    Excellent, thanks everyone
  • Right, my holiday plans are still going ahead... after a little set back.
Anyway what hotel would you pick out of the Luxor ( spa suite) or a grand tower room at MGM grand? Also considering NYNY. Spa is probably not essential but thought it would be quite nice for me and the GF to use ;)
Would like a decent pool for relaxing too. Dates are 3/10 - 10/10.
I will consider any other recommendations, depending on cost.
    Thanks

    Edit:

Just found an offer but wasn't really sure of the hotel and whether if it was worth it.

What sort of money are you willing to spend - and what is the cost of the hotels you mention above?

I stayed at the tropicana, its not as "trendy" as the main strip hotels but the pool area is really cool- swim up blackjack etc. Also you can use the spas at any hotel. I went to NYNY spa which was lovely. Tropicana is fine, right by the Excalibur and Luxor. Enjoy yourselves- You lucky lucky things !!

A wee bit of confusion here I believe - the OP was talking about a spa -suite, ie a room with a jacuzzi, not the hotel spas where you part with a lot of cash quite quickly!
