I think Vegas has moved on a bit since then mate - try tripadvisor.com or other forums, not sure you'll get the required response here.

Well I've booked Orleans for the first 4 days of our holiday and Flamingo for last 5 days
I'm looking for a good deal on a strip hotel for the 5 days in the middle
Check in Oct 28th ...Check out Nov 2nd
I don't want to pay more than $1,000 =£500 for 2 adults and 1 teen
    Anyone help with any deals
best I've found so far are

    Luxor MVP $1062.15
    Tropicana $1074.25

    Challenge you to do better

Just got back from Vegas and we stayed at the Platinum resort and Spa. It's one block off the strip and is actually virtually next door to the Flamingo being on the corner of Flamingo road and Koval. It's a very good hotel/condiminium with indoor outdoor pool, restaurants and bars plus the rooms have a massive living area and kitchen as well as ensuite and king room. We managed very well with our 2 teens and us. A lot more room to spread out and it's good to get off the strip for a bit sometimes.
The rates were not too bad either. Have a look at their website and also tripadvisor for comments about it.

    Hope you get sorted.

I need some advice. Going again in 4 weeks and really would like to hire a Shelby Mustang form Hertz,(they are the only hire company that do them) trouble is we're looking at $800+ for 7 days:eek:
I have found it usually cheaper to hire from a U.K. company when going to Vegas, for some reason we get better prices when you add in all the taxes and stuff, but on contacting a few, they can't usually guarentee what company you would be with, let alone what car, any thoughts?? Oh, and don't suggest just hiring for a couple of days, too much hastle:o
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Have you tried Hertz UK...as you say hertz are the only company that do them, from memory they will gtee the type of car but it prob wont be any cheaper.

I remember reading about hertz being the only company that rents them..but do you really want them, I remember the test drive on top gear and the consesus was they were dangerous and that there was no way you could get all the power on the road, might be fun trying though

I have just checked hertz uk and it is just under £1000 prepaid for 14 days hire with 1050 free miles, .19 per mile after, just noticed you are going for a week it was £478 for a week with 525 free miles
