Tango - the link doesn't work (expect that it's one you received after a search so probably won't work for everyone).

Had a quick look and it looks like the first listing lists garden rooms and paradise tower rooms specifically - so you have the option to choose the type of room...the second listing lists triple and quadruple rooms - so may be cheaper as you're not told which type of room you will be in - you get what you get? Not sure - could just be a glitch in their system

They are the same hotel as far as I can see...but it doesn't seem like it's any cheaper than through the Trops own website.

Right I have now contacted the Tropicana reservations desk and asked for a price match for the last 3 of my days there .The trop are offering 28th and 29th Oct for $124.95 but then their price shoots up to almost double so I've asked them to pricematch the prices on the hotelrooms365 site for $184 on the 30th,31st and 1st Nov
Not holding my breath but if you don't ask you dont get.

Trets - thanks for that - I am far too fond of reality TV (lowest common denominator, me)...so I will definately check that out! My husband may be a bit annoyed with you for pointing me to it...but he'll be OK....there's always motorsport on to make up for it.

Tango - well done! Congrats on the booking. Sounds like you got a good deal and excellent news on the Trop's price match...I think the combination of hotels will be good as you will get to try out 3 different areas. Very excited for you! :)

I called Mandalay Bay today to try and get a discount on the 750GR suite for christmas (23rd-27th Dec)http://www.mandalaybay.com/accommodations/gcJuniorSuite.aspx

They offered me $50 per night off right away, saving £100 over all. I accepted and booked right away, meaning the suite is costing the equivalent of around £95 per night. Is this a good deal or could i have done better? Im not very good at bargaining.... :rotfl:

Also, we have booked the Bellagio for the final 3 nights, would it be worth cancelling then trying being cheeky and asking for a discount when re-booking??

What's the best way to get down town from the strip? (We went by cab last time but there must be a cheaper way).

Anyone got any tips on travelling around? Free shuttles etc.....
