I've now mastered where to stand for happier daysBluebell, glad to hear your friend is ok, why is it that hospitals who are supposed to promote health life style / eating / well being etc, don't sell fruit / salads etc in their shops / cafes??
It is just puzzling me...........
I use to have a set of scales, if you lent slightly backwards when standing on them, you by magic lost at least another 2lbs!!
Thanks Kaz. Yes it is very puzzling how hospitals do that and VERY annoying! I like the sound of your scales though :rotfl:The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.

Not a fan of Webber. Love Vettel's adorable excited voice though!
Not doing too well at this...weight never seems to change. Am eating 1000/1200 calories a day and cycling when I can - at least once a week. Walking as much as I can...prrft. I'm so exhausted, and I'm fed up of not losing weight0 -

But did you have a lovely weeked? Don't feel bad PP. We may have goals to reach but we've got to enjoy our lives at the same time. Take the scenic route, you'll get there in the end xxx

Hi all,
Well I am not doing too good again so far this week, again!!
I had bought a box of chocolates for a friends birthday next week, however, they got opened and some mysteriously disapeared whilst I was doing the ironing.
We had relatives over and my sister had made fresh cream filled victoria sponge for tea, so I had to have a slice. Whilst we had a buffet for lunch - it wasn't the most healthiest, cheese, tuna, eggs and salad - (which I didn't have much of), the sausage rolls and crisps didn't help. I did however just have one plate full and resisted the urge to go back for seconds ( it was a big plate mind). Later that day my generous sister, delivered us another slice of the left over sponge cake - (helpful) , along with 3 other cream cakes. I have managed to resist the cream cakes, but did eat the second piece of sponge cake before bed.
Yesterday started off fine, then I took my mother out to the new garden center, - and its cafe - whilst we had jacket potato - I stupidly got cheese savoury with mine. Why couldn't I just get something low calorie. Then to top it off we shared a slice of cheesecake - although the portion was not a small one.
Sausage sandwich for dinner and thats me probably put on half a stone, or more? - weigh in not till Saturday so must try harder today. Already had cheese on toast for breakfast - are you seeing my downfall ?? cheese with everything, whilst I do buy the lighter variety, I didn't realise I ate so much of it till now.
Whilst I said weeks ago I was going to write a food diary, I never kept it up. Only 4 days into August and I have fallen at the first fence, I do want to lose weight, but am so bad at healthy eating its unbelievable. Its just so easy to eat all the bad stuff!! I still want to lose a minimum of 3 stone. At this rate its going to take 3 years (or more). Only managed to lose 3 lbs last month, and I've probably put it back on in 3 days.
Sorry and thanks for the rant, hopefully it will have highlighted my lack of effort so far this month early and shamed me into doing something about it, I do hope I can improve the rest of the week.
Whilst we have got friends staying for a few days next week - I will try and plan a good menu in advance, any ideas?? I am off to supermarket now to get some groceries, I am determined to buy only healthy non fattening items, and No cheese!
Thanks for listening and all your support. Hope you are all doing ok.:T 2015 TARGETS :TWeight loss 12.5/112lb 18th feb -4.5lb, 25th feb -2.5lb, 4th mar -2.5, 11th Mar -3,

Hi all,
Had a better day yesterday after my rant, so thanks for that.
Had chicken sandwich for lunch and nothing else. Dinner was potato, egg and mushrooms, washed down with a can of diet shandy. Sounds awful when you write it down, but was ok at the time.
Only had a banana for breakfast so off to a better start today. I have decieded to try and focus on cutting down on my cheese and bread intake, I have managed to cut out nutella for a while now, so thats a start.
Went shopping yesterday and spent a fortune on fresh fruit, strawberries, cherries, grapes, melon, peaches, bananas, in the hope that if I am in snack mode I will eat fruit as opposed to toast or something equally unhealthy.
Its weigh-in tomorrow, so one more day to try and work off my bad actions earlier this week. Fingers crossed!!
Hope you are all having a good week.:T 2015 TARGETS :TWeight loss 12.5/112lb 18th feb -4.5lb, 25th feb -2.5lb, 4th mar -2.5, 11th Mar -3,
