On the plus side I did start the day off well with an aquacise class before it all fell apart! Friend is fine though so I suppose that's all that matters really. BUT from my end of July weigh in on Friday I have managed to go up AT LEAST a lb (can't tell how much for sure since they're old fashioned scales) so I shall say that my start weight is 11st8lbs (162lbs) though I fear that it is slightly more than that  but if I can get anywhere near the 11st flat mark by the end of the month I will be over the moon - YAY! :j

I have a set of scales like that. Mine can vary by about a stone depending on how you stand on them lol. I've now mastered where to stand for happier daysSmashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j0 -
Bluebell, glad to hear your friend is ok, why is it that hospitals who are supposed to promote health life style / eating / well being etc, don't sell fruit / salads etc in their shops / cafes??
It is just puzzling me...........
I use to have a set of scales, if you lent slightly backwards when standing on them, you by magic lost at least another 2lbs!!Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi everyone and welcome to the newbies!
My clinic was good this morning and the consultant was impressed that I had lost 4.7kilos(just over 10lbs)since he last saw me so thanks to everyone for their support this month! And it was with clothes on so it was maybe even better than that!!!
I have to keep going for my own good but he hasnt put any target on me this time - I dont go back for 6 months so I would like to have lost over a stone and keeping it off!

Hi everyone! Think I need to join this challenge! I have a bit of weight to lose and I am like 9lbs down already with the help of LIVESTRONG, the same idea as the calorie website you posted at the start, but I miss having some "real" support other then a computer program showing me how much I'm losing. So here I am signing up for the 7lb in August! Hi toots
That is a brill 10lbs loss and bonus points that you don't go back for 6 months, at least one less hospital type bod you don't have to worry about.
We will get you to a stone, 4 lbs to go, (if I have understood this right) and kick your !!! to make sure it stays off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: however in this hot weather (well I hope it is where you are) please look after yourself.

Please feel free to shout at me and kick me if I slip - I really want to follow your excellent example.
My next immediate target is my diabetes bloods at the beginning of sept - I need to be less than 8% or will have to have meds changed and increased - so if I can lose some more weight and keep away from the fatty stuff I am in with a chance - last one was over 10!
re racing drivers - wouldnt have a clue - never see them - no tv - but would really like a nice man before I pop off:rotfl: a huge dream but hey ho what else can i do:rotfl:
and BTW it has been pouring rain today - not hot - its been ok this last few days but nothing like what you are getting down south!
