Morning all and a very happy new year to you all.

Tired Mum have a wonderful time

Kaz I have complete faith in your ability to sort your life and finances out, anyone who can raise such wonderful boys on their own is a complete success story to me.

Queenie, how well I can remember that moment! I think it was the day you finally became 'real' to me instead of just being Superwoman, I mean that in the nice way that someone you admire but absolutely petrified of because they are so in control suddenly becoming a dear friend. I hope you understand what I mean because it hasn't come out very well but my head is a little fuzzy this morning.

Which reminds me that I am becoming a complete lightweight where alcohol is concerned, one glass of Bailey and half a bottle of Cava and I was tiddly last night. Gone are the days when I had hollow legs.

Right, I must head over the the FL challenge to chivvy everyone along. Then persuade DD she is playing in her room today

Main meal today is Roast Goose, roast potatoes, cauliflower, carrots and sprouts. We'll have that tonight before DH goes to work.

I have too, but I wondered about putting a few things up and seeing what happened. do people buy off people with a zero rating though?

remember that everyone starts with a zero rating! Why not mention, just for good measure, that it is your first item so if prospective buyers have any queries they can e-mail you?

I suspect it is a bit like posting on here - I found building up to my first thread a little strange, and now I can't keep away from here!!!

I have put one thing on ebay this morning, so the hardest part is done. Now to get the momentum going.....after another cup of coffee I think!

Oh dear, I have a poorly head!!! I really can't handle drink like I used to... (I'm 20 :rotfl: )

Had a quiet one at the flat with my friend from work and one of OHs friends who were going to be alone if they hadn't come over. Didn't get too drunk, but I mixed wine, Baileys and champagne so feel poorly this morning... so much so that Queenie's first line made absolute sense...

Plans for today: going to jump in the shower in a minute, then at 11 will wake OH and guests as they have work this afternoon (Blummin' Meadowhall - the centre is closed today but the cinema is open and that's where OHs friend works). This afternoon OH and I are off to the peaks to see my parents and my aunt and uncle who are oop north visiting.

Plans for year: Get rid of OH for long enough to actually get some work done!! He was supposed to be going to France with work next week but they have cancelled it because of his Shingles (only dangerous to people who haven't had chickenpox and pregnant women... and half the French office seems to be pregnant at the minute so it's a no-go :( )

Have a lovely restful day everyone

Happy New Year to all on the OS Board

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: You put it *very* well moggins because I know *exactly* what you mean :D:D Mind you, bit worried about the ".. but absolutely petrified of .. " bit  ;) :rotfl: Funnily enough, there was another thread a few months back where I admitted to almost drowning my eldest son when I gave him his first bath and then almost turned him into Van Gogh when I gave him his first hair cut :o Someone on that thread was also surprised to find out I'm just a "normal" person too :rotfl:

For the record ... I'm *very* ordinary; nothing at all like "Superwoman" (whoever she is!?) and just bumble along like everyone else on here ;):D
