Is somebody please going to post a link on here to the HM hangover cure recipe? I know it's around here somewhere but I can't find it.
Not that I need it of course
A very happy new year to you all (didn't I already say that somewhere? Can't remember) and thanks for all the inspiration over the last few years.
I :heartpuls OS - except for days like today when I've been reading the marmalade thread and want to have a go at making some... but lack the oranges and jam/large pan :rolleyes:My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

I'm amazed so many are up and about - although granted it's now quite late! Have tackled some of the Flylady stuff, walked dogs and put beef in oven...not too bad a start!
Hope this year is relly good for all of you - thanks for all the support and encouragement on threads like this!Resolution:

Yippee, we got some good news this morning. After a bad start to the year with a very low December salary, DH put in his claim for 2 overtime shifts which will put us back to normal at the end of January and now has 4 extra shifts booked for Jan so Febs money will be looking good
So I only have to struggle through this month (which shouldn't be too bad as we have lots in the freezer and cupboards) and we should be back to normal.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Happy New year.
I think my sons gf has just gone into labour.
Bless, they called me, dh and brother before the hospital
I'm so excited I'm crying all the time. Hospital have told her to stay at home for a while because they are busy and she'll be more comfy at home.
What a great start to the new year, a 1st grandchild.

Morning all   (and yes I know its not but in my world you get up in the morning therefore it must be still morning as I have just got up:rotfl:)
Just posted the usual rant but was signed in under my mates name as she had been on my computer all yesterday so have to start again now:mad: :mad:Thought Id post a piccy to represent my head this morning!!Went to a great party last night and only fell into bed at 5.30:eek:
Actually not as bad as it should be after I sunk a 3 litre box of red wine at the party with help only from above said mate and then in our infinte wisdom came back home and finished a bottle of port off again with help only from her and her dh  so coffee is the perscribed drug today!!
Plans for today include doggedly remaining in my dressing gown all day and with persistance and determination I will sit on the couch all day and watch dreadful tv. If a manage this list I will have ham and tatties for dinner and then after such a tiring day I will have a lovely bath and bed v early:j
So best get on with my busy busy day:rotfl:Happy New Year everyone and thanks for being fab virtual mates:A
